Peeps have basically covered it already, but yes Tuesday nights, Game Galaxy is the spot for weekly fight night. I REALLY wouldn’t be worried about the environment. It’s in a public place, everyone knows each other and is chill. Wouldn’t sweat it.
Basically TN is about the best you could hope for in terms of a fighting game community. Cats are friendly and help one another.

Yeah when it comes down to it I think it’s about having great fundamentals and you pick that up a lot quicker w/ higher level comp than you do milling about in low level online. Learned more in a month at GG than two years on Live, no joke.
So is anyone playing Julia, fought one online and was lost, got some questions.
Not sure what you need to know, but one of the main aspects of her offense is the mixup off the lunges.
She can do a regular lunge punch, then a delayed punch that hits OVERHEAD and CRUMPLES, or lunge then backdash. She usually tries to condition you to block low then starts the overhead shenanigans because any of those landed leads to full combo.
It may have been lag that was messing with me then. The one I was playing with online just kept doing a normal then some safe special move that when it hit went into an animation. It was lagging pretty bad though so that may have been part of the safeness.
Yeah, that’s another lunge attack basically, its a shorter ranged elbow. It was prolly lag.
