RIch: Dunno about MWC yet. Isn’t that tourney like 3 days? And I’m already mad busy that weekend. A whole new turn of events would have to pop off for me to legitimately make it, though I could possibly come down one of those days maybe.
Jason: I thought he wasn’t allowed to enter any “major” MK9 tourneys. What’s the point of being restricted from PDP if you’re still communicating with NRS and can enter future prevalent events? Not that I think he shouldn’t be allowed to enter tourneys, I like seeing him play and niggas gonna wear hats regardless of his knowledge, but I’m just curious as to why PDP is the only forbidden chamber.

Bulletstorm is ass. Only reason I got it was because it was ten bucks from some crackhead.
Portal Co-op is fun. I can help you run through it if you want, but I already have all the puzzles pretty much memorized. So you know… not very fun.

Whoa, I never said I liked Bulletstorm. I said the campaign is entertaining in a few parts and more fun than Gears, but that’s not hard to achieve IMO. There are tons of things wrong with Bulletstorm. Just to list a few: the juvenile dialog with meaningless cursing in every sentence, too many “oh God, huge explosion knocks everyone out” moments (seriously, I’m on the 3rd chapter and this happened 5 times), the main character is a mix between Marcus Phoenix and Wolverine, and you have to recognize enemy patterns just to pass certain parts on the hardest difficulty (namely the helicopter enemies).
Anyway, I still hate shooters. They’re all dumb, except for TF2.
I’ll go to GG to play MK9 if there will be a few people there, just need to know a good time to show up

FlyMike: Many people weren’t allowed to enter the PDP tournament; he wasn’t singled out. He can enter anything he wants, PDP was something where like I said before, MANY people were not allowed to enter. Nothing prevents him from entering any majors at all. If you hear otherwise I would love to know because there have been a LOT of false rumors (like him having a version to play for months, and JOP and Perfect Legend playing it for months) ; I mean, I had to FLY to Chicago to play that game, no one had a version outside of NRS and WB; etc. Off on a tangent but yeah, he can play in these tournaments…
I think people act like he “works” for NRS, he’s doing the community stuff with videos and opinions himself, nothing to do with NRS…
As far as 3s goes, we’re bringing the cabinet back in there this week, but a lot of guys have always said they would get in to 3s and just don’t follow through with it…same goes for ST…the ST thing shocks me, basically the comp for ST can reach top 5 levels here if people were interested but no one seems to be in to the game, so there it lies…

I FINALLY got the parts to finish up a VAS-HG from Voltech. I went with simplicity / elegance over flash and really like the way it came out.
- Case: Voltech VAS-HG Elite with white-dyed tiger maple sides (hard to see in pics, but shows up fine in person)
- Stick / buttons: Myoungshin Fanta stick, Rollie 30mm pearly white and solid black “Asian Style” buttons, Sanwa OBSF-24s for the others
