Phil - Glad you came up for a little while. I died laughing after we played a few matches in Marvel and you said, “Yeah, your team is definitely different.” Dorm’s flame carpet shuts a lot down, and it’s a free mixup on characters first coming in (if they don’t have airdashes, double jumps, or air supers).

Patrick - I knew it would be us in grand finals. It was a lot of fun, especially when it came all the way down to the final match. Your “Team Tier-Whore” is good when Hulk doesn’t hit them once.

Why is there no major site for MK strats? I’m looking on TYM, which has a very good guide, but very little general discussion. I still don’t understand a whole lot about MK, and having some sort of strat forums for the characters would help a lot, but there’s nothing on SRK, either.

A few things:

If you have a 360, you’ll probably want to sign up for the XBox Rewards program. You get points back on purchases, points for taking quick surveys, renewing Gold, purchasing featured titles, etc etc… free points are always a good thing.
MK9 and Portal 2 are on sale at Amazon for $40 and $35, respectively. Portal 2 on PC is $30, but if you own a PS3 it includes a free PC copy (at least it will when PSN comes back online), so that’s still the better deal.
Outland is REALLY damn good. It’s like somebody got their Ikaruga in my Limbo. With a sword. I definitely need to pick this up.
And because people just don’t seem to pay attention to gaming news, PSN is coming back up sometime this week, and the Playstation Store later this month.
