Crouching 3 goes right into Jump 3 Air Throw. Trust me, Smoke is amazing. He does have a good get off me move, it’s called Teleport Punch, LOL…He’s in the same tier as the top guys…
Mike doesn’t carry cash either. Its why he tried to CC MM me after loosing in loosers finals in T6.
So in MK is there any reason to play anyone not in hat tier or Smoke?
Well, if you have 3 players better than you, and they lose badly to Jacob and Cody, that should give you an idea…I haven’t even played anyone from Memphis in the game, but I use a lot of characters and I will use Smoke if I need to as well as Raiden…
It would be fun but I think MWC will be the deciding factor.
True but it’s not much better here actually lol. The main mk players here are me,bishop,flymike and shinblade. And those guys never come around to play except bishop and we rarely get to play mk as is since its all marvel here lol. We do have other mk players like hiryu,lycan,sunstone,srkfadc and a couple others but again most ppl don’t play the game here much or even takes it serious with the exception of the first 4 i mentioned above so yea there isn’t really any experience in vs play here either 
Hmmm I’ve tried reading the TYM Smoke board but it’s pretty garbage (pretty much because it’s so dead). I’ll have to hit the lab for some of this stuff. Thanks for the advice. Crouch 3, Jump 3, Air throw sounds really interesting…
And teleport punch seems to get stuffed a lot on startup (at least that’s what it seems like to me). I have trouble with people that can keep pressuring all day even if I block…

Cyber Sub-Zero had some damage buffs when he was terrible but I still don’t know how good he is. Sub-Zero is mid tier for sure as is Sektor, Sonya, etc.
Yeah, I don’t trust message boards sometimes. It’s hard to think Smoke would be terrible with tracking bomb, amazing combos, and a safe combo with overhead in the middle. He’s essentially Raiden with a pop up projectile and less range on a move…but that low 3 move is nasty to the combo
and there was much laughter.

So for those of you that don’t know, I was in a car accident last night on my way to work. Bishop: Good to hear you are ok, I’ve been in a pretty serious accident that made my car look like an accordion and my girlfriend at the time and I walked away from it and I am still driving the car after getting it fixed nearly 10 years ago…definitely makes you think…
SRKFADC:
1, 1, 1 is good pressure, mixup to 1, 1, Leg Grab, or 1, 1, throw, etc…use your F + 3 overhead and crouching 1 a lot. in fact, ruishing crouching 1s or 3s are very good, but crouch 1 with Scorp is really good.
Since you can’t combo the unblockable fire (downback2) anymore, you can just delay moves into it (like 1, 1) and people get hit a lot. Use it at the end of the screen also.
Basic combo after 1, 1, spear or Spear will be Neutral Jump 1, Back 2, Jump kick 3 or 4, Air Teleport into 1, 1, juggles or just jump kick 3 or 4 into air grab. (Just so you don’t have execution issues) For the most part the 1, 1 games are your main forms of mixup and I highly suggest learning how to jump in with 1 or 2 correctly as an overhead and mixing up your grabs and doing wake up teleports if you are ASSURED to hit the opponent or get away. Don’t just do them to do them…

Cyber sub seems pretty dern good to me. Lots of people seem to think he’s top tier. Noob Sybut is ass. So much work. He’s like playing a SF character with like, more recovery than Ken’s fireball and less screen distance to put between you and your opponent, and 8 out of 10 characters have a teleport or some way of just suddenly being in your face. Up shadow is crazy nuts good though. We should start a weekly thing somewhere, somehow for Nashville. Jus’ saying.
