I concur about “back in the day” stuff…I don’t really say or react much when I play except to myself…I’m more about the competition…I’ve been in areas where there’s constant shit talk (Family Fun) and just high level play and attitude (Southern Hills Golfland) and either you man up or get out but your “game” is how you earn respect. Not “trolling” or trying to be funny or being “scholarly” watching videos and knowing what frames are, etc…it’s great that these things exist now and can expedite gameplay, but a lot of people use this sort of thing in the community instead of actually working on experience on their game…
I definitely want to play and will always show respect to my opponent…this was even back when idiots used to hate “throws” in fighting games…lol
