The New Tennessee Thread: Our Infractions bring all the mods to the yard!

Lol my favorite gdbell talk was how he refers to squabb as slaw and how everyone in memphis plays cody better than he does and blah blah blah but yet last I checked this whole year of 2011 squabb has proven how slaw he really is by consistently placing higher than the majority of the memphis players in sf4 in every tourney hes entered including ranbats outside of maybe 2 ppl who are kinetik and maybe woot,2 players who btw are also slaw. Oh yea and of course bishop had nothing to do with helping squabb get better in sf cause afterall all those training sessions that we’ve been having this year dont count.

So yea this is coming out of the mouth of the same guy who always says ill be at the next gathering but not show, ill be at the next tourney but not show, ill support the tn fg scene but do absolutely shit, ill come out to nashville, but will never happen. Ill mm you/side bet you,but is always broke. I troll because I suck at everything I do including trolling, but im just speaking my mind and telling the truth. I major in english, but my spelling is worth of pure diarreah dog shit. Im gdbell! Please just like me already! ,but the sad truth is no one really cares.

So just remember everyone we are all free and slaws who cant handle the truth when being told by the almighty higher being. This coming from the same guy who got dicked from behind by kinetik 10/0 that kinetik got bored playing him and made him wanna drop his so called main who he sucked to begin with and learn guile cause he was tired of losing. Oh and before anyone says anything, kinetik is free and that nigga does suck balls. Thats why he placed 2nd this past weekend.

Now back to playing darksiders…

My friend put me on to kweli in like '05 with Right About Now: The Sucka-Free Mix CD. The song that put me over the Edge was Rock On. “I practice the Art of War, don’t make my Sun Tzu it.” I lost my shit.

I got you, and I agree, and I don’t think I’ve personally met you yet Solstice but I’ll talk music with anyone. But it’s funny because I talk to my friends about rap and it seems like as soon as they realize I have any knowledge they immediately talk about Asher Roth and Mac Miller. I don’t listen to their stuff, sure I’m a white kid in college but that shit is just dumb. I’ve always like rap because it introduced me to a life I don’t know about. Kind of like a 16 bar documentary. That’s like if Negro Justice told me he liked rock and I was like “Oh Yeah man, Hootie was the shit in the 90’s.”

That website is in my browser history. I must have used it when i got arcade edition of KOF XIII but found youtube videos better. I will try using this site again.

Best Joe Budden song ever:

Also, just went and payed of KoFXIII. See some of you on tomorrow!

Oh and if you’re not listening to Jean Grae… what is your life about? Sev knows what I’m talking about.

Also R&B fans, Boyz II Men’s latest album, Twenty, is pretty damn good. They have a song on there that is straight Mo-Town called Benefit of a Fool plus some re-recordings of their classics. I just hate that it’s just Nathan, Shawn, and Wanya since Mike (the bass) had to leave the group for health reasons, but the album is good.

Jose - como se dice “real talk” en español?

Hahahahaahah. This is so real because people do that…and das’ racist…also I do like rock. I awn fuck wit hootie tho.

Yes - Freaks and Geeks is pure free associative lyrical chest beating, but I fuck with that if it’s on point, and Gambino is. Camp is definitely a more personal album and I relate to a lot of the themes. So crazy.

Damn…all the music heads here need like, a subforum to talk about this shit. I know there are some here, but I don’t care to talk music with SRK members outside of this forum. Hell aside from character matchup threads I don’t care to talk to them about much of anything lol. Some areas of SRK are just cesspools…

Well,
as much as I want to say something, I’d better shut the fuck up and say it in person! It’s much more pleasant that way. Seriously!

and since I’m stalking the tread today and we are talking about music “Making Easy Money Pimping Hoes Is Serious” I’d like to thank Memphis for the Saturday school I spent in sixth grade for playing Chapter 2: World Domination through my walk-man speakers in gym. Mystic Styles and it were such fun albums, Summertime is one of the best smoking songs ever written.

If your not listening to Jean Grae you have no life period. Go to Amazon right now, DL her tracks and be amazed.

Cool points x100 for knowing of and acknowledging the greatness that is Jean Grae.

Same here I used to talk in the Guile forums but then it just became who’s internet dong was made of more 1’s and 0’s.

I’ve limited myself strictly to this thread, everything else is purely lurking in the shadows. At least here most of us know each other. I’ll make my best possible effort to come out to Memphis after break since I’ll have my money pool replenished. I won’t GDBell ya’ll I just have to ration out my funds better. Couldn’t come out to the past tournament from all the dough I shelled out at the one before that and BF3 dropping.

Food gorging also seems to be popular afterwards, as it should be. Nobody can hold down these Boro/Nash Mexican food & brew roundtable meetings. Jason needs to get some hall passes from fatherhood for a night, we all need to go to Eddies, and then go out to Brix for artisan pizzas and beers cause we’re fancy, huh?

I owe it to Rukus. I didn’t know who she was till we were chilling one day and made a food run. I heard this nirvana coming out of the speakers and Dl’ed her stuff like two days later. I think I played nothing but her stuff for a week strait whether working or in the car.

Justice: I am sure you heard it but Gambino’s Culdesac was a more personal record as well. Granted I enjoyed Freaks and Geeks myself too.

Lol at Chris B. Yea Nature Boy on deck.

One of my favorite Jean Grae tracks

I can understand that. I appreciate good rap but I don’t listen to it a lot, I think it’s cause I never pay a lot of attention to lyrics/wordplay, I always listen more to the beat or instruments. It’s just not my thing.

There’s only like two other Hulk players I like in the Hulk subforums. The rest are just randoms that stroll through and say, “Check out this xfactor combo!” or “How do I beat Hulk’s super armor?” It’s pretty abysmal.

You’re right though. If you’re not a mod, don’t have over 10,000 “likes,” or you haven’t been on a stream more than 10 times, then no one will listen to you. The asshats in my DHC input bug topic basically told me I just had bad execution and that the bug was present in vanilla. The problem with those statements is that I never had the problem in vanilla, and even pros on the streams have been getting wrong supers because of it.

Yeah Jean’s dope. I always liked her but didn’t really appreciate her until I saw what she could do on “Uh Oh” off Gutter Rainbows. Damn near out-shined Kweli. Lol
