I want to know how the people who paid 2 years prem to get their join date changed to 2001 feel about the join date not showing.
I’ve adapted to the new layout and figured out everything I need to find, but I still don’t like the 20% of empty screen to the left and some minor changes would make it pretty good for me.
I really didn’t like the inequality there was before because seniority was a big deal. Who cares if you joined a decade ago. What matters is our devotion for what we signed up to shoryuken. Anything unrelated to this thought makes me sad.

I joined in 2008 but stalked for a bit before that, I never really had a problem with it, but then I don’t post alot so, only time i ever got negged was someone not getting the sarcasm in making fun of someone who ruined the site cause he joined in the very start of 09, and cause i dont like dark meat chicken

LOL the rep system always, ALWAYS did more harm than good. That system was such a joke but everybody bought into it, even though most realized it was a joke…Whether or not it helped or hurt though was not the point.
Its purpose largely was as a corrupt, sleazy device to act as a strong incentive/motivator for members to buy premium.
They may not have intended it to be that way, but that is essentially what it turned into.
So i’m skeptical that the rep system will be gone for good, as it did its job too well. Either that or the admins will have to cook up something else to act as a big incentive to buy premium.
So I have srkgd as a favorite and when I click on it and the page loads up it never looks like im signed in, but I am. Im just not able to use any of the member things untill I either refresh a few times or switch pages a time or two. It never says “Welcome, Dirzzt360” at the top of the page it just has the fields for me to sign in/up.
edit - well, after screwing around for a few seconds I figured out that refreshing the page doesnt do anything. It just changes it back to the loggin/sign up stuff at the top, even if it shows that I am signed in before I refresh. I have to change pages in order for it to show that I am signed in.
I am definitely enjoying the more frequent updates, though. Amalgamating all the new SSF4 news on the main page is a big help. I don’t enjoy cruising between a half dozen other sites to get the info I want.
The new look, however, still blows.

Its called “settings” now, find it in the upper right hand portion of the screen, conveniently placed RIGHT NEXT to the “logout” button.

It’s a little underwhelming tbh. The Thread List is absolutely cumbersome to look at compared to the old layout.
rep was stupid. neg rep was great tho. bring back neg rep, remove pos rep. pos rep just resulted in 09ers circle jerk repping each other in that retarded thread. i must confess i posted in it one or two times, so that makes me hypocrite. but that shit was gay.
if rep is brought back, they should just ban all circle jerk threads, and 1 day ban anyone who tries to make one. problem solved.
