but yea overall the new layout’s not bad. I like the new profile page. Wouldn’t mind a subscription tab at the top instead of going to Community>Friends & Contacts. Or maybe have subscribed threads tabbed under new posts or forum activities?
I hate reading white font in a black background, it hurts the eyes.
I think one of the things that is so jarring about the new layout is simply that the post message is too far up. See, it’s aligned with your username (or Premium Member) as opposed to being slightly lower so that your eyes identify that that’s where the post begins. So everything feels more compact. I like the layout besides that and the colour scheme though, quite snazzy.

I hate this new layout and color scheme. Makes things hard to read and navigate. Open it up with some white space or a bright color pallete. White on black is soooo early 2000

Damn. This new layout is just kinda clunky. Rep is gone, that was half the fun but I don’t give a shit about that. Fun while it lasted

The forum used to feel a bit more unique. Now it seems really generic and a lot of the navigation is hard to figure out. I used to check subs and stuff through User CP, but now buttons are in different places and I have no clue where my subs are anymore. Colours are also kind of meh, I liked the old blue instead of this shaded site.
Also it seems like the font size has to be set to quite a low level, 'lest things look all smooshed together and distorted. This is especially bad for those on laptops with smaller screens, who like to surf the net with the default font size set higher than normal for easier viewing.
Blahh! This new upgrade sucks. I pray someone will throw together a “classic” SRK skin that can be freely selected in the control panel.

So far, yes, the colours can be an eyesore at first sight. But, I think I’ll get use to it the more I stare at it, I guess.
Ah, I didn’t even notice that at all. I mainly use the quick reply. The color scheme is pretty hard on the eyes, I def prefer the blue one over this. I wish the font was smaller for the boards and everything too.
