We just decided to crash at ID. Going to stay here until the morning before we headout.
Also, change the ID section of the first post. The numbers are incorrect and it’s 963-6 not 936-6.
We had a little trouble cause the information was wrong.

Sorry, I thought I fixed that when I noticed it before. Fixed now!
Not sure if MadKoF is the guy that runs the place or not, but he was there when I was there on Saturday and Sunday. Super nice guy. He actually drove my small party back to the train station and helped us find arcades in Korea we wanted to go to. He doesn’t speak English but he used google translate on his computer to talk to us hahaha.
If you plan to stay the night at CafeID bring a blanket and a pillow. They actually let you sleep on the couches there if there is room. (Bunks are in the back but it’s right next to whoever is running the joint for the night) My friend moved one of the couches next to the heater and MadKoF actually covered him up in a blanket when he was shutting everything down for the night.
There is also a tip jar for him that I would highly advise throwing some won in. I had a bunch of spare coins and threw some in before we left since it’ literally a steal to house people in that area.
But just to sum things up, Cong is the place you want to go to for AE. At least when we went there was a group starting to play AE. Of course people played a little bit of everything there as well.
At CafeID it was mostly KoF and TTT2. A few other people showed up to play AE as well.
I’d still like ID for TTT2. Tekken’s probably my second best game at this point, but I haven’t played a lot of TTT, so I’d love to go to class on that.

For any of you new guys over here, be sure to bookmark this ish. when the coupon comes up on their site, download it to your phones or print out a copy and keep it with you. I suggest you do both, I had a terrible time last year trying to get 7 Elevens to accept the digital coupon from my phone. Lots of good shit you can get for a month after new year. I have been using this for the last two years, especially at the banks for exchange. (Although TBH, that old guy in the stall at Namdaemun Market gives better rates.)
MP’s pro-tip: If you’re near the area, take this coupon to Seven Luck Casino at Coex (Only works if you’re a foreigner, but if you’re not a foreigner, you can’t use the KGS coupon anyway). Go to the front desk, get a free bet coupon by presenting the coupon. Go to the blackjack tables, play one hand with basic strategy. Do well, get a little lucky, walk out with 10000KRW free. I did this last year, planning on doing it again this year.
Rumor has it that there may be a major coming up in April in Seoul, with a $10k pot bonus for KOFXIII, and $5k pot bonus for AE.
Don’t know anything else, just that Lapchi, Air, Justin Wong, and Infiltration were talking about it on Twitter today.
Will there be marvel?
 probably not, but I’m sure if there’s a chance to BYOC, there’s going to be some marvel players there that might do some side events.
All I needed to hear
With those kind of pots, I’m sure there’d be quite a few travelers.
Shoot, if there’s no side action at the venue, I’d lug my Xbox around, maybe we could get someone to set up some salty suite action.
Well the next important question is when is this tournament?
All I’ve heard is April. Hang on, I’ll post up the tweet where this was getting discussed between Justin, Lapchi, Air, and Infiltration:
So I need to practice for Final Round to turn right back around an be ready for Mysterious Korean tournament… that only leaves one thing to be said… WHEN’S MARVEL!!!
According to the interview with kensouzzang on IPW, CafeID is planning a multi-game large scale tournament, but is not divulging details yet.
Hmmmmmm…that grapevine looks pretty accurate.
@xero15, I still need to get you on XBL. We’ll do some AE training.
Needs Marvel or it ain’t legit
As for AE I’ve been working on my spacing and confirms from certain distances
 That means you need to train up dat Infiltration into a Marvel machine, and we need to start prodding the Japanese Marvel scene to come over.
You know Nemo and ABEGEN would jump at a marvel major in their continent.
Luckily I know the Final Roundbat guys  but they have their stuff on lock so trying to get a tourney out here would need someone who’s willing to put in all the effort and is going to be here for a while
If I wasn’t going to be there too late to really help, I’d offer to promote a marvel tournament.
It may even be more viable to get players from the Philippines to come, despite them still needing visas. I know Marvel’s their main game.
If you have people like Justin already coming, there may be a call to get some more Marvel players out. Maybe Chris G.
Well I will practice all the same but we really need a marve scene
Well, better start looking for flight tickets…CafeId just announced on twitter the tournament’s going to be on Jeju…and there is a Marvel tournament.
