The season opener was quite disappointing. I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I even stayed away from spoilers and hype.

This is more of a technical question:
How far is Smallville from Metropolis?? I thought it was a few hours away (like 3 or so). No biggie for Clark, but seems like Chloe and Lois are always there.
Why do dc fans still watch this made-for-girls bullshit? it’s just going to leave you disappointed. You CAN’T be that desperate…they need a disclaimer. Warning: This show is not intended for the consumption of straight guys, or anyone who knows anything at all about the dc universe.
I thought it was reasonably good when Lex Luthor was still on the show…the season before last and the one before that. Michael Rosenbaum was doing an excellent job as that character.
…then of course, there is the TnA value. Ya got Erica Durance and my baby Alli Mack on there…that’s a powerful combo of hotness there. There’s also the smokin’ hot redhead (Cassidy something…forgot her last name) that’s filling the void for an absent Lex(*which really hurts the show, since Lex is the most interesting and badass character, without question) at the moment.
*another note is how funny Clark’s stupidity is. It is a multi-tiered thing:
***Stupidity of Clark Kent, exhibit A: **being hung up on Lana all those year while the vastly superior Chloe(Alli Mack) was burning with desire and devotion for him…I bet it wouldn’t even take much for him to STILL hit Chloe today.
*Stupidity of Clark Kent, exhibit B: -This fool STILL cannot fly. haha, how many years now, Clark? We’ve seen him go through high school and now embracing his superhero destiny…yet he still hasn’t flown while in his right mind yet. It’s presented as a psychological thing (“Kal El can fly…I can’t.”) with him, but it’s still hilariously dumb.
There’s other small things as well, but there ya go.
Whatever, I mainly tune in to see Allison at this point. This is probably the final season anyway.

I agree with Million, missed the last episode but haven’t felt compelled to watch it online either. But I mainly watch it for the TnA factor, every thing else usually disappoints on some level.
Anyone else pick up a lesbian vibe from Lois and Tess conversation or was that just me?

I just saw a pic of Clark in his Superman outfit which was pretty cool IMO. How has the series been recently? I never had any interest in it, but if the recent/current seasons are good I’ll give them a watch.
How’s Kara/Supergirl in this show?
LOL Kara hasn’t made an appearance in about 2 seasons.
This is season is far better than the previous seasons, the series finally has some direction instead of the constant distractions from meteor freaks and break ups.
Louis and Clark are working at the daily planet, they will pretty much start dating any time soon (but you just know something will come along and mess that up), Oliver went suicidal for a couple of episodes, Zod is back and his an evil English man has no superpowers so he is pretty filling Lex Luthor’s role.
LOL they got the guy in Dead like me to play Zod?!! Him being serious is weird 
Man… the new Speedy is ridiculously cute. She needs to be on this show every week.
Don’t know if its been mentioned in the thread yet, I’ve only read the last few pages, but how would the whole secret identity thing work on Lois, considering the fact that Clark still isn’t wearing glasses? Glasses is a lame enough disguise as it is, but without even that, she’d have to be colossally stupid not to get it.
Clark as Superman is just a blurr of speed. ^
Lois and the general public haven’t seen his face yet, so he doesn’t need a disguise.
I like the season so far, it’s pretty disjointed and badly written but the characters are fun and the stories are entertaining lol…I hope it keeps going for more seasons

He’ll have a cape with a hood and wear emo eye shadow. I can’t think of a way they could unless they purposely ignore that and stay true to the original that nobody can tell. Give Clark a super power to turn his skin tone so Superman can be black :lol:
