Other reasons aside, the Batman train has sailed anyway. Bruce Wayne would have skipped town by now on his odyssey around the world, so unless Clark embarks upon a similar journey and happens to cross paths with him, there’s no chance.
Well, season 8 is supposed to focus on Clark facing his rogues gallery with Lex, so I would assume that he’d be traveling around a lot and may run into Bruce Wayne. The only thing is the legal stuff, so it’s not going to happen.
So… who thinks the “threat” Kara presents is going to end up being the return of Brainiac? I do.

well it seems like they’re going the route of zor-el (kara’s father) wanting her to kill little kal-el instead of protect him, so that’s probably what he ment.
That’s not something she would have picked up right off the bat. Remember that Clark got the super hearing after going blind and had to depend on his other senses.
Clark also had to work hard to master other powers, such as X-ray and heat vision. By contrast, he was able to fly completely by accident during season one, in his sleep.
