Actually Michael Rosenbaum said that he would be leaving at the end of next season (Season 7).

So we still got plenty of Lex left.

hm ok… i have a feeling the next season is the last season. no homo but anyone notice how clark was looking beastly in last nights episode… looked way bigger and more supermanish.
Hell yeah, I noticed that too. It’s like the nigga was training to wear the Superman suit or something.
i think it’s called turnin it out. that whole beatnuts album is good imo.
have you guys noticed the music cuts in the last few episodes have been HORRIBLE? for instance, the beginning of this last ep. good song, but the beginning just seemed awkward with the sudden cut of music rather than a slow fading in or something.
YES! “Turnin’ it Out”! That’s it. Nearly 10 years of occasional searching for this song, finally my quest for it has ended.
Back on topic…this show and Justice League Unlimited have made Lex Luthor such an interesting character…something to look up to as a role model, actually. Was he such an awesome character in the comics back in the day? I don’t know about that since I never read Superman comics regularly except for the Death of Superman story, and when Ed McGuiness did the art. Before JLU and Smallville…Lex was the lame, and goofy “comic relief villain” as portrayed by Gene Hackman in those 70s/80s movies.
On another note…I’d love it if my dad happened to be Lionel Luthor. Again, these are role models, folks.
indeed a great episode. Lana was cute. <3 KK forever.
I think Lex has always been hardcore. Those movies (which sucked IMO) were horrible at the Lex Luthor character. Even the Superman The Animated Series from the mid 90s showed Lex as pretty hardcore (come to think of it even the Superfriends from the early 80s showed that he was pretty tight). The comic community has pretty much always seen lex as more of a good foe for Batman than for Superman because they are more equally matched. Because technically The Joker is too stupid to ever defeat Batman and Lex is too intelligent to have not already defeated Superman. (Now, now, those of you are are comic fans, don’t misread me here… I’m not saying Superman is hardcore stupid or that joker is either, I’m just saying that compared to their opponents they aren’t nearly up to the task.)
…And speaking of the Death of Superman comic, my mom recently found this (along with a reprint of the very first Superman comic from Action comics) while cleaning out her basement. I remember when she bought those for me so now I have them at my house, and they’re still in nearly perfect condition. :wgrin:
kane on smallville tomorrow as a zoner lol here’s hoping clark actually puts up a decent fight(doubtful)
Oh I doubt Clark’s usual throws are gonna work on this guy. If Clark goes in there with his usual fighting methods, he’s going to get owned so hord.
Lois is in tomorrow’s ep!! :lovin:
^
Lois back on the show and Kane, means it will finally be a good episode. Also usually that means no Lana, meaning it could be a very good episode.
I expect Clark to get his ass handed to him and then for someone to come save him. It is what happened with Batista and Batista hasn’t been in near as many casket and inferno matches as Kane.
Who else loves Clark’s new attitude in tonight’s ep? He’s less boy scout and more Man of Steel.
…Did I just see Shin Clark do a Mortal Kombat uppercut???
Oh that isn’t Shin Clark. No red K, but as for the uppercut, it sure looked like it.
I’ll give him props for the Power Dunk he did, but he still comes off as aggresive emo.
This episode just proves once again why Lois trumps Lana. Once again doning a stripper identity doing some Girl on girl flirting followed by a cat fight.
Well, he sure did have a Shin Clark smirk on his face a couple of seconds before he did it…Man of Steel it is then lol.
This ep is great. Minimal Lana action, Lois in a red skin tight suit, and actuall physical metahuman action. Awesome.
EDIT: DAMN IT HE’S TURNING INTO A PANSY AGAIN!!!
“titan” wasn’t a metahuman, he was an alien. i’m kind of upset about clark taking as many hits as he did but it was almost completely made up for once he talked some shit and mk uppercut your boy. the only thing that was missing was a TOASTY!!!
gotta show love to lois man, that broad is some sweet ass.
my main gripe is that i just wanted to see clark totally over power kane and destroy him. i guess i’m just a fan of one sided own fests.
I’m sure this has already been mentioned but I wonder will clark actually realize he can use ALL of his powers instead of only using his strength, the show would be 10x more awesome if he did
edit: Now that I think about it maybe they dont have a big enuff budget for all those special effects
Well, it was at last a step up from the terribly lame fights Clark is usually in…
Ashley(?) looks so much worse now than when she was “new” in wwe. What happened? The new super-fake tits are a travesty, and that surgeon should be arrested. Besides looking horrible, they are way out of place on her pitiful toothpick frame anyway. Goddamn…please go eat a few plates of cornbread and home-style macarroni/cheese and get back to us, Ash. I’d rather my women not be built like Dhalsim with implants.
Good to see Lois but very short time we got to see Chloe. Lois’s baby is supposedly gone for now. Lex is full of secrets.
