For anyone who may be considering attending PowerUp 2011, there are only 4 days left to pre-register online and receive the $20 Venue Pass rate. In-person Venue Passes are $30. You can pre-reg at the PowerUp Store.
I think the Family Fun Center still has its 3rd Strike Cabinet, but it’s old and isn’t always in working playable condition. A few still play it there on occassion as far as I know (I LOVE 3S), but most of the attention’s on the newer games (SSF4, MvC3, etc.) now. Can’t tell you anything about the other two games, though.

Hey guys. UFGT7, Chicago’s Evo Tournament Season qualifier, is only a month and a half away. You only have two weeks left to register at the normal rate, and orders for T-shirts and Stick-Bags will also cut off when we move to Late registration pricing. Pre-registration is mandatory this year. If you choose to register at the door, you will be paying the Emergency Registration fee. Registering this way means that you must be in line by 11am on Friday the 27th or you cannot be entered into any of the bye slots in the pools, as well, and you cannot be regionally seeded as the brackets will already be made.
The event is a full 3-day tournament being held Memorial Day Weekend (May 27th - 29th). Hotel rooms are the same low rate of $69/Night as last year. We’ve more than doubled our ballroom space and will be running 32-man-or-less pools for every game on the roster. We want to make sure your time is well managed and that you don’t spend time waiting around. Our increased space allows us to have ample room for BYOC, and for other special guests and activities.

Couldn’t make it to the tourny today, someone in my family passed away. I should be there next month though.
FYI, even though MK was a no-go this tournament, we’ll try again in May. Right now it is looking like May 15th, but it’s not official yet.
