but I really liked the demo. I was awful at it though since the only MK game I put any time into was UMK3 it was a pretty similar but also very different. I am going to miss “Dial a combo” but I am really excited to learn MK. Can’t wait to see Smoke in action, planning to main him, Noob looks amazing as well but I have a feeling he’s going to be a bit overplayed.
I have two words for that Larsoney,and yes I remember you,“Hellz Yeah!!!” I have been a Mortal Kombat fan since forever,and I am glad that they are revamping it considering I was kinda disturbed when they killed off Liu Kang and then brought him back as some zombie,that was a BAAAAAAD IDEA!!! so I am all for this remake,I need to download MVC3 I keep hearing good stuff about it.PM me your number man and keep in touch…

Since it didn’t sound like there was any STRONG objection to having the tournament on the 23rd, that’s what we are going to shoot for. I’m planning to do Mortal Kombat and MvC3, but there are a few things worth noting. Since our last tournament, there have obviously been some updates to MvC3 and I would really like to have those in effect for the tournament since we had a few Sentinel players. I am going to see what the possibility of having those updates applied on FFC’s unit would be, but that may or may not happen. If it’s a no go, I may reach out to some of you to see if you wouldn’t mind bringing up a 360 and just doing it that way. Another thing that will be a definite is that there will be PS3 versions of both games available this time around (yes, I have Jill and Shuma). Also, I’m not 100% sure that FFC is getting MK yet, so I will be bringing my copy up of that as well, but that is PS3 and we may need someone to bring up a 360 copy as well. As the date gets closer, I’ll provide updates. I’m hoping to update the website with this info on or by Friday.

I’ll bring it for Xbox 360. Also I have a question, I bought an adapter to allow me to use a PS2 controller on a Xbox 360 and a PS3, since PS2 controller is how I want to play MK, is using the adapter allowed? Also, that adapter would allow me to use my 360 stick on a ps3 (as far as I know) so would that be allowed? Even though I haven’t been playing MvC3, I still want to enter the tourny for it.
Wait. You have an adapter that lets you do 360 stick on PS3? I need that. I haven’t really touched many games lately except for SF4. For some reason that is still my fav game.
I bought one, haven’t gotten it yet, originally I was planning on just using it for PS2 controller on 360 but I found it out it works the other ways as well.
I haven’t played MvC3 because the online sucks, and I don’t have any friends that are any good at it or even interested in it, you can only do so much in a fighting game by yourself before you get bored. I should try and practice up on SSF4.

Appreciate it man. As long as the adapter works, you will be fine to use it in the tournament. Also, as a side note to everyone; although I’m planning to allow Kratos and whoever ends up being in the 360 version, I would strongly recommend against making them your primary character in case you have a match that ends up on platform that doesn’t have that character. Same goes for MvC3 with regard to Jill and Shuma.

As a 360 player I do not look forward to fighting Kratos for the first time in a tournament lol but otherwise everything sounds good, I’ll see ya there.
They are but they won’t be at our tournament, since the only way we’ll have them is on Dual’s PS3 that he is bringing.
I really wonder if there will be a 360 equivalent.
