Weather seems rough at the moment. How bad is it in the city? Also I rarely play on live anymore.
City’s not terrible, well from what I can see in West Omaha. My dad was driving the mustang earlier and got around just fine. You should be good.

143 miles to play offline in the snow. This is not the first time I’ve done this but the trips out of state definitely take their toll.
Its a 176 mile drive from University to my home, so I can feel ya.

EDIT- Just wondering, how much was the entry fee per game at the tourneys and how much did the prize winner recieve?
I was wondering if any of you Omaha folk would be willing to go to Council Bluffs for offline casuals? I’m thinking about having some at my house sometime. I live right on the Omaha/Council Bluffs line so it wouldn’t be too much of a drive. Only problem is I live with my parents but they’d be cool about it, it just might be kind of awkward lol.

I heard something like it was a 35 dollar pot. 5 dollar venue fee, 5 dollars per tournament. Pretty good economically if you just wanted to experience a tournament. Trith, we were looking for you but you never told us where you were going and I had to leave lol since my car was at Troy’s place. There’ll be more time for casuals, I recommend that you just move forward to playing folks in Lincoln and just start learning these games. I can tell you that the level of play at the tourney wasn’t that high, especially if I’m placing 4th in SF4 lol.
The good thing about how we’re starting out is that there’s plenty of information available to start doing the things you should be doing in matches rather than like… whiffing green hand and then getting mad when someone whiff punishes you. That dude made me laugh so badly, fucking X-Box Live/PSN tactics.

In SF4? An Omaha player, might be the Chris that’s always referenced here. Second was an Iowa player. Third was Sweet Poison, fourth was myself.
No clue who won MVC3, I had to leave as soon as my matches ended so I could make the drive home.
^^^ lol. Yeah there really wasnt that many people. Like corrosive said the competion for SSF4 was average at best. I only say that because I dont think there were that many matches to be played. I think there were more melee players than ssf4 players. But I will say playing offline took a little getting use to, since I typically play on-line. It was fun though and the atmosphere was pretty cool. And being competitive as I am, I didn’t feel any different playing people across from me than when I am at home. I actually was more civil in public. lol
I definitely will try to attend more of these in the future. I just wished more people like HDR/ST but I guess when a games has had 20 years of success it eventually has to come to an end. 
Do you live in Omaha, I am awful at HDR but I will play it offline if people want to play. I want to meet up to play offline, trust me. Just let me know if you guys are ever down.
