Good games to everyone I played at the FFC today, even Reggie who whupped my ass good with Christie in the money match, haha. Turnout was slightly better than before, and being able to play PS3 was a huge bonus. I am not disappointed.
Melvin and I just ordered our tickets so it’s official, we will be attending KiT in January. Hopefully we both get some good practice in before now and then so we can rep.
I’ll be having a get together at my place on Wednesday, anyone
that wants to get some Tekken on is invited. Can’t guarantee any SF IV since I don’t own that game. Ray, we can have our money match then if you’re down.

I was hoping for some SF4 stuff but this isn’t bad. Though I was initially confused.
I thought Bryan (I had to read the name, I had no idea who that was under all that stuff), was punching with the power of Pac-man. Cause of the weird little splash it has for damage.
Man I was soo upset that I had to forfeit. I was there before five knowing that I had to pick up the wife at 6.30 or so. I was hoping that the tournament would be pretty much over by then. As luck would have it, the tournament for SF4 didnt even get going until almost 6.30, looks like we had to wait for mashin 6 errrrrrrrr tekken 6 to finish. Oh well, I see that Chris won, good job.
Cory, are you guys going to get together tonight, if you are let me know in advance and I will make arrangements to be there. I just need to know in advance so I can plan things out with the wife.
What were some of the highlights of the tourney, and where did my boy Cory end up, did you finally finish in the top 8?
Thanks to everyone who came out for our weekend event (and thanks for your patience while we troubleshot the Tekken and SF4 issues). i lost to C.Viper, i’ve played some shitty ones and seen the mix up moving slow, but all in all im not mad because now i know what it looks like and i can move from there to work into stopping it. Good stuff though i like the technicality of it all and im not mad that there was nothin i could do lol. Leon sorry about last night we will money match here soon and then maybe people will stop sayin im better than you :p, although dirty was talkin shit about how u throw more threes when i was playin chris.
all in all good tourney, i was in the top 8 more likely the upper portion of the top 8, Rob you were supposed to play me first to rub some salt in your wounds haha!

Im tellin ya, we need some offline play guys. Understand that this is how it works, I have to work at 6 am every morning except Thursday, so Wed is a pretty good nite to do this, as is Sat night.
But I need to know in advance if your going to get together as I have a wife that relies on me, and if im not going to be around she would like to know when.
Telling me at 10pm that everyone is getting together at 11pm doesnt work.

And, we’ve tried multiple times to get an Omaha thread off the ground, but the scene just is not big enough. Besides, for traditional reasons, Omaha players post in the Midwest Cirque.
I do think the scene is big enough for a thread, people just need to post in it is all. Sigh. At any rate, guess i’ll just go ahead and post in that Midwest thread and let the Nebraska one die a silent slow death…

Rob i hear ya man, priorities gotta be set and thats whats up I know how you feel cuz i got school and it may as well be my wife.
as soon as the holidays are passed though it will be easier to get games going with everyone getting off at more decent hours. And maybe someday here soon i’ll grow up and quit taking living at home for everything i can…maybe.
till then though i’ll be holding down bellevue all alone lol with the exception of Tim who still plays every now and then.
