if you got offended by what i said about those vids, then that’s too damn bad. it probably wasn’t fair to include luigi jr and courtney, and i hope that courtney doesn’t take this the wrong way when he reads these messages…but i meant every word.
the only reason why i can think that you put those vids up, is so that you can show off beating Luigi Jr and courtney. it’s cool that you’re not trying to impress me, but who are you trying to impress? you missed a ton of whiff opportunities, throw out unsafe attacks, can’t break throws, use the same throws, can’t duck under obvious highs, etc…
i would really hope that you’re not trying to impress anyone.
And, since I got brought up in this mess, I don’t really feel any reason to be cordial.
If you aren’t impressing either me or Reggie, I can gaurantee you you aren’t impressing anyone important. Bring the ego way down, because you aren’t in the position to flaunt it. If there is anyone that has any right to be cocky in Omaha, it’s me and Reggie. And we’re not, because WE don’t have any reason to be cocky. It’s not like our names are the ones being tossed around big tournaments or whatnot. (Not yet anyway wink wink)
What is it gonna take to beat that concept into you? A money match? You name the amount. A dollar? A million dollars?
It’s dumb, because as it stands, there are only a few people in Omaha that are established enough in Tekken to say anything, and Reggie is one of them. He has the experience that you don’t. He tries to show you some stuff, but you think you’re hot shit, so you don’t listen to any of it. He’s not trying to bring you down, but you get defensive like this is a big pissing contest when it isn’t. The Omaha Tekken scene is so gay because there is NOBODY anymore that is just willing to sit down and learn. Not everyone…but the vast majority of new players are nothing but scrubs. Less because your actual skill level, but your mentality coupled with your skill level. You’re definitely acting like a scrub. And nobody’s taking you seriously.
But you’re okay with that since you don’t see it that way. Funny how that works.
