Alright, so it sounds like a number of people want the Tekken tournament on PS3. I never really had an issue with the idea except for its feasibility being as that FFC doesn’t have any PS3s. So here is what I am proposing. IF people are willing to bring up PS3s, we will run the tournament on PS3. There is a catch, of course. These same people need to be okay with people using their PS3 controllers (or if they have some they could bring, that is fine too) as we cannot force players to bring their own controllers as all other tournaments are currently on 360 (3rd Strike being the exception, although I’m now told that we may only have the one arcade unit to work with, unless someone wants bring up Anniversary Collection for Xbox). This actually brings up my next point. We may need some extra copies of games keep the tournament times as close to the designated time as possible. If people would be willing to let us borrow a game, I would be willing to provide them with $5 worth of tokens per game for the loan. We would need copies of Tekken 6, BlazBlue, King of Fighters XII, and maybe SF Anniversary Collection for 3rd Strike if we do indeed only have one working unit. Send me a PM ifyou are interesting in loaning us something.
Finally, I’ll try and swap the hard drive that has HD Remix into one of the cabinets for people to practice on Friday.

I would be more than willing to loan out my PS3 for the said tournies… (and I’m sure Courtney wouldn’t mind either.) I only own Tekken 6 however. Also anyone is free to use to my controller too. This is awesome news… I will pm you with my info…

Also Reggie, I haven’t played you in awhile, hit me up sometime for some games if you’re interested…

I think Courtney, and 5-10 Tekken players will have to take you up on that offer. I mean, I know what you did last tourney. just need a better screen. the tint on that one monitor was like playing video games in the middle of the ending of the Shinning. Just this time, more Black people die in the most retarded ways, lol.

Just wondering, is anyone going to KiT in Tennessee? It sounds like it’s going to be HUGE. 1000 dollar guaranteed pot for SF IV and Tekken 6. About 140 confirmed people… It looks like this will be the biggest tournament of the year aside from Evo.

I planning on flying there.I was just wondering if anyone else was coming too and if so how? plane, car, bus? (walk? lol)

i’ll be unable to attend in nashville, the holidays make it hard for me to leave town, specially this one lol. Womans flyin in the 28th, Brother on New years, Wisdom teeth on the 4th and turnin 21 on the 10’th. Streetfighter gets the backseat for 2 weeks lol.

i’m gonna be completely honest, and don’t think i’m like a Tekken elitist or anything, but those vids were bad. you guys have a long way to go before you even think about competing in a tourney such as Tennessee.

First off, let me say that I am capable of much better play than those videos represent. Out of all the matches that evening that could have been posted up those had to be my very worst two. That being said, yes that was bad play on my part and I do have a ‘long way to go’. But I want to get better…so let’s play some more Reggie, what you say?

Second, yes I fully expect to get my ass handed to me in Tennessee. And even if I could hang with the top tier guys, there can only be one winner out of what, over 140 people? I’m not going with winning in mind, I’m going to scope out the Tekken community and get acquainted with people I haven’t seen since the last big tournament I’ve been to (TiT 4 back in 2002… yeah it’s been awhile) and make some new friends. Also I want to see some awesome talent first hand…

Thirdly… Drvillain I can live with that Asuka vs Paul vid, but why’d you have to put up that terrible King Vs Jack 6 match? Now I’m embarrased :crybaby:
