But seriously, fellas. Every good thing you’ve ever heard about RL is true. @me if you guys start getting this game and I’ll keep a player list in the Rocket Leage thread for you .
I never really got the RL hype. Had it since it was free on PSN, seen some cool highlights from other players, but I guess you have to enjoy to soccer to really get the most out of it.
There’s a pretty strong anti-Xbox sentiment on this forum. I don’t think it was quite as strong before the XB1 was announced and MS completely fucked themselves over back in 2013.
And as Po said, SF5 is also ps4 exclusive. So of course it’s going to be the preferred console here.
There are a lot of people who still believe the XB1 is the same console that was announced in 2013. They literally don’t know anything about it, don’t pay any attention to what has changed or the games released for it.
Just goes to show how important first impressions can be.
Xbone needs a redesign asap if i were to buy that thing I wouldn’t have any space where to put it because of how big it is. Also a another price reduction and for God’s sake include some lithium batteries in those controllers.
There’s Japanese shit on it (Blazblue, D4, Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae, Onigiri, etc). Not to mention Scalebound coming up from Hideki Kamiya/Platinum Games. I don’t know what “no Japanese support” even means. Unless people just talking about JRPGs, then yeah.
I have to agree on the size thing, if i bought one im not really sure where id put it, ft heres not really any room in the living room set up for something that big.
Other that i dont have any beef with the Xbobe anymore, i wish i had one to play Halo 5. Oh well some day.
I saw that this thread was alive so I stopped by to see what people were talking about, legitimately not trying to shitpost here but it’s probably going to come off that way anyways.
Blazblue there is literally no reason to own on Xbox because the entire community is on Sony platforms. Like, it exists on Xbox I guess, but you would be a fool to buy it there. D4 got ported to PC, Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae was ORIGINALLY on PC, Onigiri is on PS4 as well, and in general Japanese developer support on Xbox platforms is suffering. Y’all got Scalebound, and you also got Crimson Dragon and probably some other titles, but the problem is 90% of Japanese games on Xbox are either multiplat or literally what from literally who’s that no one would be talking about even if they were exclusive to any other platform. Even if it was a PS4 exclusive, I don’t think anyone gives a shit about the Psycho Pass visual novel. Any high profile Japanese exclusives are always Sony exclusives, whether they’re RPG, action, fighting games, etc. The trend recently has been to make some of these high profile games multiplat instead of pure exclusive, but most JP developers have not jumped on the Xbox bandwagon.
You missed the point. Multiplat or not, those kind of games exist on the console (albeit in much smaller quantities). So when people say it has NO Japanese support at all, it makes no sense to me.
It’s almost as bad as the people that think most of the games on any Xbox console are FPS.
But what you are arguing about and what other people are arguing about are two different things. Yes the wording is hyperbolic, but most people understand the intended meaning. Japanese games existing is not the argument, what Japanese games exist on the platform that are not only worth owning, but worth owning on Xbox? The answer to that right now is Scalebound, and even with little footage we have, most people don’t even know what the hell Scalebound even is. Outside of that Japanese games on Xbox that are both worth owning and worth owning on Xbox are SPARSE. It would be hard to argue that if you are interested in Japanese games that Xbox would be a suitable console for you.
