That’s like saying dual layer DVDs could hold 16 GB even though pretty much every game was on single layer discs last gen for Xbox 360. It doesn’t matter.

For 20 dollars I’d say you still are getting more for your money in KI than you are with the 60 dollars in Forza especially. Forza couldn’t even get any weather effect tracks due to the rushed development and I hear forces you to pay more than 60 dollars to get anything close to all that is available for it. Dead Rising 3 seems more worth the 60 dollars, but I hear the frame rates in the game aren’t perfect either.
There’s a 40 dollar package for KI but it’s just extra costumes and the old KI1. Nothing necessary for gameplay. The game plays great and a lot of top players are hopping the bandwagon for it. Chris G, F.Champ, PR Rog, J.Wong and others all bought the system just for the game.
thank you for not flaming, and Id assume most big name players would buy the system in the first place just to get ready for tournaments on it. They’re sponsored and required to play them right? PS4 has no new fighting games, they can keep playing injustice on ps3/360
They’re not required to play them. I could name off a list of sponsored players who don’t have the game or the system. Dieminion has been placing in tournaments for a long time without owning a system. I think he still doesn’t have a system and just plays with other people. Flux is another player who has shown interest in the game and is sponsored, but hasn’t been suddenly graced with an Xbox One or the game yet. I would imagine their sponsors would be perfectly fine with them not playing KI since you can already look incredibly good for your sponsors winning or placing very highly in the Capcom games. Rico Suave is another huge supporter of the game, and although he has the system and the game I doubt his sponsor helped him with it all or persuaded him to get it.
It’s just a good game made by people who are really in tune with how fighting games should be created. All of the small things that the 60 dollar fighting games miss, they have done a good job making sure are in day one for the game. Once it gets all of its extra features set up it will probably be THE most tournament friendly fighting game on the market. Plus, there’s a lot of people who loved playing the old games in the arcade and waited almost 20 years for the sequel. They were just going to be sold on the sequel alone.

Also to add to what DevilJin said, KI Ultra Edition gets new shit before everybody else. I think classic costumes are UE exclusive, but not sure. I do know that everybody just now started getting accessories for Jago, Sabrewulf and Glacius that have been available for 2 months for Ultra Edition players.

He said the discs can hold 50 gigs. Sure, it has a marginal hardware disadvantage to the PS4. And sure, the console is over-priced because of a force-bundled camera nobody GAF about. Won’t stop you guys from enjoying autistic zombie games, cookie cutter racing sim that’s more trimmed down than the previous iteration on last gen consoles, and a scrub-city fighting game that nobody asked for.
