The NEW Official Xbox® Thread: $399 system without Kinect coming in June

@orochizoolander Well I like the Kinect’s ability to see your face and make an avatar out of it. The attention to detail is pretty crazy so now you r avatar will actually look like you. Be great for any tourneys that are connected to the internet since it can see your face and load your button setup and character. Which that’s also great for casuals at the house.

Plus the other stuff that devs will eventually create now that the Kinect IS the Xbox. Might be able to get a real game out of it now. The other stuff they’re trying to sell is stuff you can already do on a smart TV, but can’t hurt.

The only thing i have a problem with the Kinect is that its not fucking wireless. Also the wires is going to be too damn short w/ my new setup. I dont know how im going to have the Kinect hooked up. Microsoft better have extensions ASAP.

@rcaido, your set up won’t allow you to just put it on top of the Xbox?

This is my current console/computer desk setup. The plasma tv is where i plan to play xbox one on. I would have to hook up the kinect at the top, hide the wires & connect it all the way across the other side of the room where all my other consoles are at. I dont think the kinect cord will be long enough.

Yeah unless you got some type of stand for your Xbox One near the area of the TV probably better off with an extension.

At least we don’t have to deal with the kids, etc etc.

I love my kids they are a joy of life. I would give up everything for them.

Fitting for Megaman to make a cameo in another Capcom game on a Microsoft system. Might as well just combine it all to make one huge controversy bomb.

Megaman fans should be happy they are getting anything at all.

capcom didn’t bring shit person who made this thread.

Not even a peep from me. Megaman has no effect on me now. Have fun living in 20fps fake X.

DR3 is the only retail launch title between the two consoles that I have any interest in ever buying. All they need is to throw in Frank & Chuck (the chemistry & banter between them in Case West was great) & I’ll definitely get it some day.

Least this MM suit looks somewhat decent. The X/Protoman suits from the previous games were low-poly/poor texture pieces of shit.

New thread title is great lol

I disagree… But I do respect the subtle trolling it has.

The MMX suit looks really fun, who wouldn’t want to blow shit up in that world with ease?

Could be good. But I really, really hope they don’t just ape PS+ (which I’m not wild about). I’d prefer more of a traditional rental-type service, where we’re given a selection & can choose to download an X amount from it per month. Even if the selection is only like 5 rotating titles, it’d still give me more choices & would decrease the odds that a game I already own is offered.

Going by the garbage they [Microsoft] have given out already for those “free” games I doubt they would do anything like what you’re hoping for. You’ll get one of the lowliest games available each month.

Maybe if the One had BC or if they roll out this program three years from now I’d consider that a possibility . I know MS is greedy (and not one bit shy about about it), but I also like to think they still have a certain level of clout amongst the Western game industry to pull big things off when they need it most.

If they really do end up offering games like Ryse or Kinect-anything, then the current Xbox heads truly have Sony circa-2006 levels of self-delusion.

Does anyone know if you can use Microsoft points to buy Killer Instinct or do you have enter credit card info?

Could care less. I would prefer a price lowering of XBL over free hand me down games. I know what I like, ill just buy it with my own money (unless its a f2p where that’s the base offer).

It was inevitable that they were going to do something like PSN to please said people. They’re going to do more emulating of Sony’s policies to stay up with customers and hopefully do some unique stuff of their own.
