Yep. I just don’t have ghosts, or xbox gold. Bteks,Pun and Reth I think were on FFXIV. Now I think only Bteks came back.
We could still play Magic or whatever…Pun is on the X-1 methinks
I’m torn but after logging into Diablo 3 again Reth pops in and tells me most of everyone is jumping on Titanfall on PC. I realize for the price of the X1 i could just upgrade a few PC components and buy a digital copy of the game for half the price.
That and selling off ghosts will help a wee bit. I’ll wait for Treyarch’s CoD which by that point will be playable on a more affordable X1 (CoD on PC isn’t worth it since the games stopped being optimized)
What really makes me “Eh” to PC gaming is that I can get a decent PC for that kind of $$$ but it will become outdated in a few months. Also learning the mouse/keyboard for FPS games.
Ghosts need something to jazz it up.
Learning Mouse keyboard isn’t that bad. I does take time to get used to but not hard. As for hardware you’ll only need to upgrade as you see fit. Last time I did a full on upgrade of RAM/Motherboard/Powersupply/CPU was nearly 4 years ago but again depends on what you’ll be playing. granted my most demanding games since those upgrades has been CoD4, Diablo 3 and Left 4 Dead 2.
The COD Ive played the most is MW2, second would have to be COD4. I still play the crap out of MW2. Im trying to finish off the shield stuff. I have to deflect 50,000 bullets with the shield and Im at about 41,000.
Mouse and keyboard just takes a bit of getting use to.

COD4 was the messiah, everything since has just been pretenders to the throne.
I’m sure if we tried to play COD 4 now shit would be hacked to all hell.
It’s not as bad as MW2 as far as hacking goes, at least on xbox. COD I’ve played the most is MW2 before kids started to go crazy with the hacks. BO2 second, liked the HCKC, and was glad that MW3 introduced that game type. I like COD4’s simplistic style and it’s less frustrating, at least for me, compared to the other CODs, so I’d play this when ever I’m having one of those nights playing BO2.
That’s true. Maybe just for me, because I’m on PSN. Hackers and the lack of available games to begin with have made COD4 unplayable most times.Even on good games, I rarely get above a 3 bar connection.
If not for the reasons above, I’d still be playing COD4 the most out of ALL the games I have. I’d give BO2 and BO1 a snippet of play time, but they’d still pale.

Yeah I play on PC. Just figured Id ask in here where people regularly play FPS games…not sure if there is a thread. I wasnt really into paying 60 bucks for a multiplayer only game, but, what the fuck. I rarely pay full price for a game and hell, its gonna be a birthday present for me.
I do want an idea of how many will hop onto Titanfall…especially on PC as I may as well invest now in upgrading everything to play. Current setup…or will be in a few days (I don’t know if It’ll even run)

I sold my xbox one a couple of weeks ago towards a PC and i’m glad i did. played the titanfall beta on both x1 and pc the game plays and looks so much better on pc.
Im not sure if that can run titanfall Ask Reth on what to upgrade he was the one who actually built my pc.

Yes and no, it depends on the match. Some matches in COD4 are good and there are no hackers. Sometimes there are nothing but hackers, it is a role of the dice.
While some of those things in the newest DLC look neat…I have already sold off my Ghosts copy for Titanfall. heh I didn’t care about Titanfall months earlier but now I’m hyped. Will be playing on PC.
MW1 was great overall but yeah some matches are ruined by hacking. Quickscoping still needs to die off in the series. BO2 only is alive now thanks to that retarded bug.
