Figured it was time to start a new thread with the reveal of CoD: Ghosts so here’s what we know so far:

Point Streaks build upon each other. (Player in the MP trailer earns a help pilot point streak while using the dragonfire). - yeldarBL
Kill feed has been moved to top right. - yeldarBL
KDR and other in game stats are displayed in top right with no need to pull up a menu. - yeldarBL
Knife seems to have been changed to have about 1 second of vulnerability. They did not mention this, but it can be seen in the trailer that is linked below.
Every map has objects that can be destroyed to get an advantage over the enemy.
More perks split into different sections
30 New weapons
Character customization - Female characters
10-Point Class system. IW’s version of it, not exactly the same. “I don’t think it’s 10 points, since perks can have as many as 5 points IRC.” - MeGustaTortugas
20 New killstreaks(less air based/UAV ground-based)
Strike packages are back

No more death streaks
Squad points to unlock equip. Buy any weapon at any level.
You have 10 soldiers with 1 prestige each instead of classes
About 10 new gamemodes - Cranked: new gamemode like TDM, 30 seconds to get another kill after death before exploding. Timer resets after another kill.
AI improved (drop shot, corner camp, side strafe)
Squads (like League Play. Against AI or people) different gamemodes, gain XP towards Multiplayer, AI affected by your equip choice.
New engine makes movement much smoother
New audio engine. Reverb engine changes sound inside/outside. Locational battle chatter improved, player will say when they see an enemy. Reactive emitters, objects react to things like explosions (ex. fences will shake).
Competitive scene supported. Seems like their own take on Codcaster has been added. Watch gameplay footage (Pro players VS Marines. Skip to 33:00)
New CoD accounts (FREE) Take profile(xp and such) from xbox 360 to xbox one.
CoD app. Features from Elite, push your loadout straight into game. Second screen support. Share with facebook/twitter.
Robust clan support. Join/Create/Manage clan with account. Clan Vs Clan playlists. Clan Wars (Clan Vs All Other Clans) Special Clan-only skins.
Emblem editor. Available in app.
Season pass is back. When purchased, get ghost team leader pack. Upgrade to next gen, DLC comes with to new console.
Collector’s edition. Hardened Edition confirmed. Prestige edition comes with new 1080p HD camera, modeled after helmet cam ingame. Shock and Water resistant.
First 500 people to test-drive the game at any place during their “world wide tour” gets a free Prestige Edition game.
Limited edition dog tags are being sold at $4.99 each. 100% donated to help find veterans jobs.

Well in all fairness it could be busted but the word “probability” jumps out at me. I see it as some kind of Mario Party “Chance Time” thing were you could potentially get fucked over by it if you rely on it.

5 points just to get a “chance” at getting stopping power per say? Maybe it’ll help those who can run a train on people like reth but ill stick to consistently and use more reliable perks.

A bit of info from the Ghosts reddit, Domination is back to pre-BO2 status. Also, if you halfway cap a flag it makes it neutral.

I didn’t mind BO2 dom since it allowed me to get a 2nd chance at turning the game around especially against teams who well dominated. Problem is (and i did it myself) is because of the round format. I could say build up a streak hide and save it if the round is going to end and unleash next round to help build a 2nd streak easier.

Got no problem in going back to how it once was. I like the idea that the flag can go neutral now mid cap making defense now more challenging.

Cannot wait for Ghosts.

EnVY Us played a pro scrim today against Quantic gaming. They went down 0-2 in the series, losing hardpoint then SnD. They then won 5 in a row to take the series. Karma, originally from Team Impact (Dallas, COD Championships) is now on Envy.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the competitive scene for COD Ghosts is going to be!

Is Vengeance worth it? The map packs have this terrible trend me not liking the non-remake ones very much (aside from Grind and Downhill). How are the non-Summit maps on this one?
