I may have just dropped this game tonight to return to Gears of War 3 for all my console shooter needs. Playing hardcore I had three out of four terrible ass connection games. Eff playing rock paper scissors who wins.

That’s exactly what I roll LMG for. One support setup that uses target finder and quick draw handle and the other is Anti Air with reflex/FMJ

netcode/lag comp is still ass tho but I guess that’s on all platforms right now.

Damn, I had a baaad day today:/ Keep getting bopped by SMGs lol. I’ve pretty much given up on the snipers; only good one is the DSR because it’s pretty much a guaranteed one-shot. BO2 really killed snipers; lots of ways to get by equipment, poor sniping spots, Ghost only working when you move…Makes me sad.
I’m trying to find the best AR for long range, what would you guys recommend? I’m all up for using Select Fire too.

I got complaints that using the S12 with a silencer at close range is overpowered. Then mail saying millimeter scanner with a silencer on the KSG is the gayest setup ever. Then went on to say to use something cool like the ballista with an ACOG. At that point I feel like I am being trolled unless people thinking sniping that way is more interesting.
I unlocked everything for the 870. Do I “Prestige” my weapon? Or use another Shotty?
This is why I sold BLOPS 1 along with all the other annoying glitches (silent foot steps, god awful spawn system, etc). From what I have been reading so far it seems like the exact same problems are plaguing this game too.

prestiging it will reset your attachments but you can then add a clan tag to the gun like in BO. 2nd prestige will allow you to get your emblem on your gun. that’s pretty much it aside from hidden camos I believe.
arghhh what’s up with theatre mode, yesterday it was crashing, I had to access gameplay via CODTV, today when I checked my vid a 30 second clip was saved as 3minutes, then my 1 minute vid that was uploaded to youtube was only 2 seconds of gameplay >_<
Guess I’ll just make a KSG-12 class or use the Auto-Shotty.

Lol, the 2 second upload is a good thing. Just render the video again. And if theater mode crashes while you’re looking for the video, select the clip before the clip that causes you to crash, back out and you should be good.

yeah they dont want you using snipers the way they were originally intended; they want you to be quick scoping.
if you aren’t quick scoping, they want you to use an SMG.
Developers just need to stop the whole, we are going to stop people from camping thing. That was another big thing they said they were going to try to eliminate in BO. So now we have mostly small horrible maps, that are just filled with random choke points and people are camping even more then they did in BO.
Yeh i wish they didnt change their map design philosophy so drastically, I like the idea of people who camp automatically show up on the radar, or become a lot louder
