As far as I know Treyarch has had a good track record with balance and making sure things work. Also for BO2 they’ve been vocal about being up to date on fixes if needed be.

Yeah, that was a big thing Vonderhaar emphasized. Before, the perks were absolutes (as in, Ghost protected you from UAV always). Now, they’re somewhat conditional, so as to be tunable (Ghost protects you from UAV when you’re not moving). I still think Ghost plus Blind-Eye will be a favorite of whatever “ghost bitches” people hated in BO, but we’ll have to see how things are tuned.
Balance yes but apparently SRK thinks its boring…
hence Why this time I’m being more critical because he’s beeen saying a lot that “we’re going to tweak as needed and can balance things far more and before now” I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt because so far treyarch has gotten better each game.
It’s like how life goes. Steady easy going/balance = boring/lack of excitement. I won’t be bored, I’ve been burned out of MW for now.
Gasp But that game is supposed to be SOOOO fun!

A balanced COD can be fun and exciting. The problem is making a balanced one that has things we haven’t seen before. BO, even though I like it, was like MW2 with no frills. MW3 sucks in part because it’s not that different from MW2 and doesn’t bring anything both new and good to the table. It wasn’t balance that hurt BO, and, If anything, MW3 is proof that a lack of balance certainly doesn’t make things any more fun.
I don’t know if BO2 will break this chain (most likely it won’t), but it has me interested at least.
Its now only fun when I piss people off. Modern Trollfare only needs to entertain me for one more month.

No, COD has a bad rap because the game gets stale, lag issues, and frames dropping.
Also the Kill Came is a joke, not like Tekken where tell you what happens. More like the person with the better connection gets the kill.
For BO, there where a lot of connection drops and migrations fails. probably 1/4 games.
