Heres my attempt at vergil i liked the lay out of the jap umvc3 site of the characters that i tried replicating it but with some twists.

There was a darker purple overlay to give it a dark effect, but when it gets printed out it’s way too dark. So I had to tone it down to 20% opacity.

take out the button, take it apart, clean it, put it back together. pretty simple.
Hi guys. First go at this stuff. Can I get a few critiques?
Kinda wanted it clean but it seems a little incomplete. I may remove the PS3 button labels and add some concentric shapes around the buttons and turbo cutout. Probably going with Grey Mesh ball, Smoke buttons with Purple ones for Strong and Forward. Ideas?
Update: Got Rid of the Button Labels. Do any of you guys have experience with the Astro layout? I’m wondering if the circles around the buttons should be large so they’re not covered up by the buttons. Thanks

Ok, here’s my completed artwork. Didn’t do anything fancy to it, might do some effects on the text if need be, but critique is welcome.
yeah the button labels look all out of wack. If I were to do anything to it i would maybe put some pink streaks through the middle, but that’s just me
her eye is cut off… do something about that unless you’re getting a clear dustwasher. I would also move that white japanese text to the lower left so it goes along with the angle
