Been reading SRK for a while but new to the forum. Here’s my akuma art (I mounted it onto a stick and I like it a lot). Hoping to do a retro MVC2 art or a UMVC3 character for my second stick.

Because images were quoted. Every time you quote an image, God kills a template.
Someone liked my Cho Aniki design. Either they have the same sick sense of humour as me, or they do bat for the other team.
there isnt many hori vx sa arts here looking for something clean colorful. no button labels or characters. a nice overall art nothing game specific.
Still have to add Jab, Strong Fierce etc etc to the button outline.
i like the vewlix taito blue art on page 31 or 32 i believe. i wanna do six button something similar i like green purple orange doesnt have to be all those colors just. a nice design with some splatter around the buttons n stick

hey guys, i haven’t made a template since i got injured, here’s a phoenix template i threw together…i still can’t render though 
Here’s an updated version of my template from before. Based on the critics that I’ve read, I removed Morrigan’s face because I also agreed that her face is too skinny… and, well, she doesn’t look pretty in that one. Instead I added in Cammy’s butt and I kind of made it transparent so that it stays in the dark background (I may blur her out in the future to create some sort of dept-of-field so tell me what you think of that idea). Someone also mentioned that I should stick to one theme to keep it simple so what I did was kept everything in black/white and, by using layer masks, I exposed certain colors just for kicks. I want to add some sort of design/text/shapes around the stick and buttons, but I want your guys’ ideas:

Get rid of the Mai picture or find a different picture of her. Her sketch style doesn’t match the rest
I agree that her sketch style is different from the rest, but it’s the only one that I like of her. I can try blending the colors and shade with the smudge tool to match the other two.
Try putting a diffuse glow filter on her

Like everyone has said basically the the different art styles are clashing. Also the backround needs work the cammy butt aint working either, theres to much space in between the renders u currently have if this is for personal use. I suggest just moving mai closer to morrigan an felicia since the edits uve done to them makes them blend together. Right now i just think the bg is the biggest prob with your temp and the positioning of ur renders…
