The NEW Official Arcade Stick Art Thread NO IMAGE QUOTING!

Very nice!

I’ll give you a run down.

Take 6 top screws off with allen wrench. disconnect all buttons and joystick. Turn upside down, take off 6 screws with small phillips on drill (not necessary but makes it easier). take off metal panel. Take off 12 more screws covered in red gunk. Flip it over and pull bottom half off. turn it over again, take off 3 screws on each side part to remove sides. Unscrew turbo guide, cover pcbs and wires with plastic bags and masking tape. and paint… if you could, I would have the whole thing hanging from string or an unwound clothes hanger and don’t forget vinyl paint and vinyl dye are NOT the same thing… if you go with vinyl paint, GET PRIMER FIRST!

Thank you =)

I was wondering why your file in TOL was called SDxT Gamescom… haha

does anyone have a mockup I can edit/emulate that isn’t a photoshop file. basically just an image of the correct size

First time posting my templates… there’s just something addicting about making them. Let me know what you think. I can also give out the .psd’s if anyone wants to use/edit these.

First up, Vanilla MvC3 Template. I’ve used this thing since the game dropped.
(I screwed up Thor’s hammer if you look really close, but I didn’t realize this until it was already on my stick, and I’m too lazy now to go back and fix it.)

Second, an HDR template, featuring Akuma. Meant for 6 button, first 6 being clear, last 2 being red… at least, that how the stick looked in my mind.

Thirdly, my GF’s stick art. She LOVES Oron High school Host Club. 6 pink buttons, and two clear on the end to show the rainbows.

Next, A Coheed and Cambria inspired stick using D3v’s “blazblue” design. The blue matches sanwa blue buttons.

I recycled the dragonfly in this one, but it’s got my main Cody, and some Coheed lyrics that fit.

Finally, a template for my new VLX, I wanted to rock the Vewlix Diamond look.

Do you have a link to that Blazblue design?

Just finished some E Honda Stick Art for the SE. Decided to go with a more simplistic and clean design this time around.

Doing some tweaks to doctor strange fixing the bg and doing some modificatiosn to it.

How? D:

I think im gonna stick with this style but should I go:
With Font?

Or without font

Any suggestions?

i think the font looks good.

I made my first attempt at making stick art. Used the SE template and uggh,… the gimp (though you could probably tell that much by how cheap generic and horrible it is)

Made this one for my brother, mind you I do these at 3-5AM so I’m always kinda :looney:

is there a art template for HRAP V3 SA PS3?

First Page, First Post.

Does the plexi not add height to the base, and reduce the clearence from the base to the start of your balltop??

Hey guys!

I’ve been brainstorming again and trying to learn PSCS3. D3V was gracious enough to let me use a couple of his templates to play around with, and I wanted to see what you guys thought about what I’ve come up with.

While I really like the HRAP TE setup, it looked like it might be a bit much, but here’s what she looks like:

I thought about removing the HRAP design around the buttons but leaving the one around the joystick. I also considered removing it altogether and just leaving the words below the Turbo button panel. I dont’ know… What do you guys think?

I think it looks great but i would put a few minor touches. in the middle makoto picture you can see the old background on her left shoulder. I would try to clip that out. Move the far right makoto so that her eye isn’t sliced in half. Also put some more effects on the bar with “makoto” written in it. Maybe a yellow stroke would be cool

MAKE MORE HORI!!!
