Recent work for a client
I swear I need my own website. So many folks asking me for commissions.
Hello my first post in the forum
I would like an opinion on this art I am planning on using in my stick, don’t mind the joystick and buttons color.

If you lowered that art on that civil war stick by JUST a tad, you’d cut out like 3 less faces. Otherwise, love the art.
Quick Question:
What’s better for printing, CMYK or RGB? In class, we always used CMYK so, I don’t know if RGB prints well. When I send my template to Art, which one should I use?
I rearranged the deadpool art for EXOgreyfox but I mistook Hori V3 for the HRAP3 lol anyways if any of you guys are interested in either one let me know

CMYK will set it up for an easy print on your own, but RGB has them juicy colors. Some printers can help you convert an RGB Document into a CMKY Doc w/o major color loss. Myself, I converted my art from RGB to CMYK. The Loss: I lost most of the Purple and the Vibrant Blues. So I had to recolor the background in CMYK mode to get it like I wanted!
Also, there are some new printers that have an RGB Printing style, one that keep the color conversion as close to the RGB mode as possible as it prints in CMYK.
Well, In short: CMYK if you know you’re gonna deal with a load of blue. RGB converts rather fair when dealing w/ the other colors.
—edit—
If anything, Start RGB. Save the file in RGB, then convert to CMKY to cover bases. Most of the time, the Printer can match the RGB colors. I know CafePress takes the RGB file and does amazing work with it. When I made my mousepad through them, it came out 99% on point (although there may be different inks involved w/ printing on cloth.)
Ok, thanks. I did notice that, when I convert to CMYK, some of the colors fade. I guess I’ll just edit the saturation to return the vibrancy to the art.
Not even. The cause of the loss of color is the Gamut of CMYK. The Inks cannot blend to produce certain colors so the loss of vibrancy in CMYK is outta our hands. That’s why its good to take the RGB file to the printer as well as a CMYK. They can convert the image to the way you want it to be if they are willing to sit with you.
I gotta hand it to Cafe Press though. They really know how to print:

All the colors really stand out like in the RGB file and I was happy for that, but as I said before; printing on Cloth may be quite different than on paper. Take both types of files and see how i plays out.
That megaman x art is amazing kaboxx. I was actually looking through your gallery and was sad to find no psd file of it. If you’re unsatisfied with it now, I can’t wait to see how it’ll look like finished.
Easy, Stuff is easy >_<
Hellow there, im new to the forums and i stop by in this forum looking to customize an arcade stick. Here is my 2 WiP that i have did so far
im looking for opinions and suggestions…

Im looking to do a grey/purple theme and im wondering where i can buy sanwa buttons with those color configurations…
Thanks in advance.
Hey welcome to the forums i like the look of the first template, thou the juri on the lefts mouth looks off, if you can edit it so it looks like it fits correclty i think it would look great. Also not sure how much it would effect it, but i notice the juri on the right of the first pic is going to have a lot cut out due to the button placement. Looks good so far though.
Also where do you live ? if its the UK you can get buttons from gremlinsolutions.co.uk thats where i got mine from, they do deliver world wide to, but if your not in the uk i recon there will be much better places that are more affordable postage wise.
Thanks.
The mouth thing, that can be fixed with the smudge tool and then a little bit of burn tool to get rid of the blurry effect, did it already.
Im going for a old school 6 button configuration with one of my TE sticks so thats not a problem. I live in Chicago,IL United States.
IDK why im more 2nd wip fan than 1st one.
cool stuff yea 6 button would work great in that case :), the second one looks good nice and simple, just thought the first looked a bit more i dunno prob towards my tastes hehe :). not sure where you can get buttons in the US but i know there are threads around with websites just gotta dig
I think I’m done with this, I don’t even know what else to do with it. The whole piece is overcrowded as it is & there is simply no more room for anything else.
