Depending on how much they are manipulated, nonrendered images tend to get pixelated fast. Rendered images don’t. (At least that is what my more Photoshop Smart friends tell me, I could be spewing incorrect information here.) And the main reason I ask is because I’m looking for the new Deadpool and Wolverine art in rendered form for my stick art I posted a few pages back.
^^^^ Looks like he got them from the website due to how low res they are. As for when an image is rendered i believe it means when you to a stock image from a wallpaper or another source picture and you cut it out. There’s two ways that i know of how to get an image and make it not get so pixelated fast !) Find a render thats bigger then 1900x1280 when you blw them up to 300 dpi in photoshop there going to look due to them being in such high res. Thats something i encourage all the up and coming template makers. Cause ive noticed alot of the people who start new or usually ask me for requests tend to work with really low res images. Imo thats a big no no cause when you get them printed the images are going to look blurry and bad. So remember when ever you do an image search make sure you narrow your search by 1024x780 i believe google is the highest it goes not sure and pick images bigger then that bigger filze is better.
As for the second way to blow up and image without it getting so pixelated is to vector the render if its low res. Now i don’t have much experience with this method but i know if you google it you’ll find ways on how to do it. Thus i believe this is what you meant joedub3 and this is what ur buddys were talking about.
eh i wasn’t going to into a rant but as joedub3 pointed out and how ive been noticing a trend on the new people posting keep in mind not all of yall, and people asking me for templates. Always use high res stocks if you ever feel like your going to print your design avoid using low res art. by low i mean anything lower then 800x800. Im guilty of this in alot of my old temps due to me not finding high quality art :|. One reason im staying away from the new mvc3 art on the umvc3 website >_<.
Hope alot of the up and coming template posters take this in considaration and helps them in the future
Here’s my new X-23 Art. Let me know your thoughts.

EDIT: updated with the pattern edited out. It came from a stock image, and I couldn’t separate it from the lights, but I ended up trying it anyway. I like the stars in the background still, because it gives it some texture.

I like the duality of the template, but what is that pattern in the blue and red streaks?
Should change the red art of the X-23 stick. Need to use Sana Takeda’s art on the entire stick!
Was considering it, but the red fits so perfectly. The color, the upside-downness, and the theme. I love the idea of X-23 being so cold and emotionless juxtaposed with her regret over her kills. I DO love me some Sana Takeda art though.
I don’t like the Takeda art in the comics, but for some reason it just works on that template. Good job.
Need an unlike buttons ASAP.
How can you not like this:

She always looks like she has a cold with that pink spot at the tip and surrounding areas of her nose. I remember when the artists switched and how disappointed I was in this new direction. I get that its supposed to help support the theme that she’s trying to become a “real girl” and her new found “innocence”, I just don’t like it much.
That’s much better to the comic reader in me.
My stick is complete!
I took the picture from a stupid angle, the sun makes the color look bland but it really is vibrant.

D3v does Qanba.
Sample I did for a client, using my new Qanba template.
My version of the Qanba template is available on the first page.
Sorry to post a request but does anyone have a PSD file (or 300+DPI image) of the 7 button red vewlix layout? I’d like to print this for the full size plexi on my TE but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
I noticed the 6 button layout on page 20 but hoping someone may have the 7 button sitting around somewhere
Sorry, that’s where I stopped reading.
I mean, to each his own, and everyone has their own opinion and all that tosh, but still…
F*ck my inexplicable inability to edit a post on my work pc.
@Gillette, if you search around in the old TE template thread, you should be ablel to find a couple of them.
can someone make a Wesker TE S one? i saw one earlier in the thread and it wasnt my style. im looking for one that is completely B.A.
one that just captures the feel of wesker. and with Led Juice some where on the bottom half.
Please it would be greatly appreciated
The file with the full size would be greatly appreciated so i can take that bad boy to get a lami-label.
Please go to the Stick Art Request Thread and follow the request process, which is basically to provide a description like you just did there and provide links to the images to use. High quality images. thanks.
I used D3v’s template and guides from the other art threads to make a lami-label for my SE, so I thought I should post what I came up with.
I have it on my stick with a 6 dark hai buttons, 2 red with black rims, and a smoke bubbletop. Here’s a cell phone picture (sorry).Forgot to turn off the layout layer, before going to Kinko’s, but I’m not yet bothered enough by it to get another one printed. Just wanted to thank all the people posting guides and tips in this thread and others in Tech Talk. You guys made it a completely painless process.
