And keep the Chun Li you have in the bottom layer, get rid of the other two. That one matches the Morrigan and Felicia art better.
Which Chun-Li in the bottom layer? And also I am avoiding that Felicia picture because I see a hell of a lot of people use it and I wanted to try something new.

No, in the first pic you put up, the chun on the bottom left, of the three, imo it matches the others better.
And makes sense with the Felicia choice, though I beat you to it, lol. What are you doing with the black space on top?
This is a TE stick. So if I were to put the artwork on without the black spacing then the rubber holders would just cover the faces of Morrigan and Felicia

someone is on edge… I miss understood your post than. From how you wrote it out it sounded like you were doing artwork and trying to add that “quote” at the bottom. So my reply was intended to mean with such a big quote you will have a hard time fitting it along side your art but i didn’t elaborate so i apologize.
Probably the only best way to do this is lay it all out on the template with a nice bold sans serif type font such as impact or helvetica. Take a look at some typography posters to get a good feel of the possibilites you can acheive with just text. If there is a sentence in there or word you would like to emphasise Bold it or make that font size a little bigger. Those words could benefit from a destroyed type font to give it some effect.
The buttons will cut off some of the words which will be your only problem so you would either have to decide to layout the message around or just slap it on there and use clear buttons.

I’m not sure where you were looking, but I remember learning photoshop back then from multiple sites. Spoono was a great one, which also had TONS of links to partner sites that had plenty of tutorials. Shit I remember learning PS3 from sites like these years back; you must have just not know where to look or had nobody to direct you in the right direction.
You are right in saying that there are TONS more resources for people to learn now though.
On a side note I need to work on some art for my Q4RAF. Just waiting for it and the plexi to come in the mail.

Yes, but it doesn’t mean you’re just stuck with an empty black spot.
Also, use this, Artgerm did this for third strike, he also did the Morrigan art you have there.

I recently got a new stick and have been thinking about changing the default image on it.(Not that there is much of one!)
I had a go at putting one together but I’d like some feedback if anything is wrong with it or anything I should change. Not sure how to get the image showing in here so there is the link to it.

I’d suggest you replace that background image of Tron with something like this:
Try moving it to the opposite side but, keep the original style. Other than that, it looks really good… Nice job.

I apologize if that reply came off snarky; I didn’t mean for it(rough day at work and I guess it shined through in my response). I myself also have a stack of old books and new ones currently on my shelves at home. Photoshop is amazing and I encourage everyone to learn as much as you can when making art templates because I have seen some absolutely UGLY sticks at some of the EVO season tournaments.

Yeah. I’m aware that artgem made the Morrigan art. I do like this Chun-Li art but for some reason I am more into the one I already have. Plus this image isn’t png so I’ll have to create an alpha channel and start cutting the image out : /
