The NEW Official Arcade Stick Art Thread NO IMAGE QUOTING!

I personally would like a uniform white edge around Kamen rider, but I can understand that someone might personally like the cut-out look.

Also holy fuck that is style.

edit…made a rough template to work with:

Could I get someone to make art for my Hori fighting edge

Looks like there’s some kind souls here who do art work. I have some high quality photoshop files for Kraylix inserts. I was hoping to have some custom colors but I am inept with the program.
It’s all color changing and just tossing a single image in the center. I’d be willing to toss some funds via paypal if the quality was right.

It’s the regular Vewlix layout but I’d like it to be 6 buttons. You can see I did some blue squiggles. I’d like the entire thing to be black except those blue lines I’d like to be silver.
So the “vewlix” shape around the buttons will be a thin silver line, and the two circles around the dust washer would also be silver.
I’d also like that “akuma symbol” to be smack in the center. Can you make it a very dark grey. It eventually will be cut from the insert so I need to be able to see the difference easily. But currently don’t want it to stand out to much from the rest of the black panel.

Hey guys,
I literally have no creativity, but I know there’s people here who does. I’d like to get some Kingdom Hearts themed art for my SCV TE. I don’t mind if it’s Full or Normal-sized, I just want it to look nice & match the case since every image I looked up on GI seemed to simply not match. I don’t have any money to pay for the service, but If someone were to do it out of the kindness of their heart, that would be awesome. Once again, I’m not majorly picky, I just want some nice, cool art. (My favorite characters are Sora and Terra if it helps whoever it may concern.)

I just did some art at kinkos or fed ex werever is call this days and they charge me 7.50 with lamilabel and the cheapest paper i think for the my next project i have them print the art on this cheapest paper wich i think is not so bad and use the laminator at work i think we have laminate up till 10 mills anythoughts or opinions anyone i need some feedback

Been out of the game for a bit here’s a recent work based on my AE Templates.

So I’m making a new background image for my VLX size ABC. Both images used are from Udon, a group that does a lot of SF artwork. Any changes I should make to the colors or anything? Also what do you guys think of the button colors? Honestly I like Blue/black/turquoise colors with slight hits of red/orange (think battlefield, mass effect, etc color choice) but this was the set from the original artwork…

i dont mind it, but it just feels too random. why are they there? it gives me no feel

I assume you’re referring to the SF characters and not the buttons? I placed the characters there because it is the only available space that won’t be being cut off by buttons on my controller. I dislike buttons cutting across an image and want to avoid that as much as possible. Furthermore, I do not know how to do the EXACT measurements on this anyway, and therefore can only approximate space so going with these designs gives me a margin of error.

I too feel that the motion of the images (one being almost symmetrical with a vertical and the other with a horizontal momentum) was a little… disjointed. However, this is my solution to the problem of button placement stated above. I’d love some help with this because I’m not SET. I’m not even THAT set on SF characters, it just so happens that I play that game more than any others (except KOF of which there only exists shit tier art) and I’m in love with Udon’s artwork.

How can anyone upload a picture from an android i wanna share my new art on my stick

You need to transfer your photo from your android to somewhere on the web you can link that image too

What most people do is get an account at a image hosting site like imgur.com, Photobucket, flicker or imageshack

You upload you photo, either transfer into a PC first and then to to the web site or with a app on your phone.

Once you uploaded your image the site will give you a URL to post.

You can just flat out provide a link or you can use Image brackets so the image it self (and not just a link) will show

here is the example of how to use the Image brackets

www.photobucket.com/your_photo.jpg

You can hand type it in, or use the Share image button provided in the “leave a comment area”

@papito - Use something like photobucket to upload your pic to and then use img and /img tags with the image url in your post.

I’m posting on my phone since I’m internet-less for a few days, so thanks for bearing with me.

Looks pretty cool. Only thing I would change is the transparent face on the left side. The overlay blends well with the right side image because it’s light-on-light, but I think the left side would look better without the transparency there on the dark bits. Just kind of looks like a random see-through head.

I really like the image on the left centered in the rays. I would probably remove the characters on the right, they don’t really match.

You could also experiment with some texture filters or brushes to give the background a little more detail, though it looks fine the way it is.

Love it! Looks WAY better then the standard art. That and Orchid’s my girl!

Hi there! I was thinking about changing the art from my Hori TTT2 XBOX360 stick, but after some time I kinda started to like the stock art. So, I was thinking about editing the Tekken stock art, changing it to Ultra Street Fighter 4 art. Since it’s not very hard, I’m thinking about doing it myself, but I can’t find a high-res image of this stick’s stock art. Can anyone help me with this?

TL;DR >> Does anyone have a Hori TTT2 High-res stock art image?

Keeping paint from peeling/chipping is less about brand and more about proper preparation (sanding, primer, etc.).
