This is an updated version of my talim stick.
I’m actually thinking of making one in color but I’m not 100% sure where to begin on it yet.
Any ideas on ways to improve this one are greatly appreciated. If it sucks to much and should be done from scratch I might do so.
in my own personal opinion the color scheme and placement looks to bland. i would try and find a different picture of Talim because that one u have of here seems really grainy, and i would only stick with one of the same Talim on your stick having 2 of the same exact picture ( unless its more of a ghosted background ) seems to take away from the synergy you want from your art
Here is something i threw together just to give you an idea of where i would go with it, i liked making this one cause to be honest she is my go to character in the soul calibur games.

That’s pretty fabulous actually, if I still played SC I would totally steal that.
I just realized that I’ve been working on a template that’s RGB and not CYMK… It’s from tek-innovations.com and I would probably end up just ordering the art from there since I’m getting the plexi from them (a lot of people seem to recommend it anyway). Before I get any farther on this art has anyone had any issues with color reproduction when submitting an RGB file or has everyone submitted CMYK files? Couldn’t find anything on their website about this issue but I know it can lead to huge color issues sometimes.
New stickart ready to be printed. I actually need some help – I’ve gotten it printed at two local places and both times the center area is coming out too dark/poorly defined, and the bright colors aren’t popping at all. Is there anywhere online that can do a better print job than my local shops? Tried Kinko’s and a local store and they both printed out a pretty bland image compared to what I’ve got as source material.

Now that I’m finally done with my Spring Semester, I’ll get back into finishing up requests on artworks.
So far I’ve got these done and the Yukiko just got printed for my friend which should be arriving next week from Arthong.
I almost want one of those big long sticks just for all the extra art space, currently realizing I’m going to have to adjust my design since the dust washer’s going to get in the way… Which stick is that for again?
While I like the change to the background I would probably take the B&W version of the character out. The negative space there would probably work pretty well and as is really detracts from the rest of the design. One of those less is more situations.
The Yukiko is for the SfxT Pro Stick and the Aigis is for the SFxT V.S. Stick.
The Pro stick is not too different in size vs the SCV. Just the art is a bit shorter in width and there is no turbo panel on the art.
Looking at it again I think you’re right about the size and I’m just seeing the optical illusion of the slightly different proportions and stick placement. Was thinking it was one of those real long Hori jobs.

This is a template for Qanba Q1cut, make a new layer and move this template on top of your art layer, this template is printable on Legal/Folio/ f4 size paper at 300 dpi
has transparent BG for easy usage
I included scanned Q1 logo, and Qanba logo.
the cutting line is there and the bleeding area is covered by semi transparent grey
there would be some part for the control panel need to be cut, and some part that I left as white dot, hopefully led would be strong enough to shine through it, or else you need to prick those somehow

Working on a Kyoukai Senjou No Horizon artwork. Not complete but this is what it looks like at the moment.
Still thinking of what to put in the empty space or leave it empty.
Donkoblocko, you make legit stick artworks. You are much better than the other so called “artists” doing “commissions” in this thread. Liking those persona ones especially.
