Seriously, get rid of those scratches and stuff. It may look “neat” now, but when it gets printed, it’ll just end up looking tacky, cheap, and damaged.
Try a patter overlay approach look for a grunge look you like and make a pattern out of it.

That said, consider yourself lucky that it’s just me. If it were Wiz, he’d most likely be handing out bans.

Hey guys. I’m currently working on my first ever arcade stick cover art. My skills in PS are at best cough lacking cough but here is my current work in progress.

The color scheme can easily be changed if I can think of a good overall theme. Any ideas on changes? Criticism graciously accepted.

Updated mine.
The receiver is happy with it so I think I will call this finished.
The X buttons looks like it may be cut from the print but I can skip the that hole when its printed.
If there’s anything else I may have forgotten or any tweaking you think should be done please let me know before I send it.

I like first one better, because it fits your design with sharp edges like shard of glass pictured in the art
but the red glow / bulb at the end of the line look bad imo.
perhaps you can also consider etching your case brand directly on the plexi, as long as you picked a nice font, good placement, and subtle enough, I think people would appreciate your “signature/ brand” on their stick even when they put their own artwork later on.

Lol horrible looking compared to the rest of you guys this is my very first art not finalized yet. Should I changed anything? Keep in mind I am a complete noob and its easy to tell so I cant do much!
The colours look really dulled out. The red/grey contrast doesn’t help either. I suggest maybe turning the grey into white to get that Pokeball colour theme as well as allowing the pokemon collage to pop out more.
Find a higher res for that collage. It looks a little blurry.
Personally, I would mirror the image horizontally so that the pokemon are on the left side facing right. That way, the buttons don’t obstruct the pokemon. Afterall, you have a lot of “space” on the left side, why clutter the right side? That’s just me though. I see that you want that “red halve” to accent the PCB panel portion of the stick.
