Would I even need a template if I plan on sending the artwork to Art Hobbies to get it printed and cut on cardstock?
I’m working on a new Akuma skin for my recently acquired TE stick. Can any of you guys hook me up with the template that has the whole controller in it on the gray background (or a link to it)? This is my WIP so far, and my first attempt at doing a template.
I did one with labels and one without. I kind of like it without the labels (I’m a minimalist).
I used the magic wand to select the plunger part then used the hue adjustment to change the color. Then I just pasted it multiple times over the other buttons so they were identicle. In the default template the black buttons actually look grey to me so I changed it as well to look like it should.
Hmm I am not sure I think you might be able to send him just the jpeg file but I am not positive. I personally download the template from his site and then did all the stuff myself and sent him the psd file
it’s better to send Art either the .psd or .pdf file. Just make sure it’s the correct dimensions for the stick and he’ll just cut it using a template.
Oh okay. That’s good to know. Thanks guys. I’m just going to have .Cobra tweak the colors a bit to go with the theme I like.
Btw, is there a tutorial floating around somewhere on how to fit the art to a template using photoshop? I tried searching but it keeps saying page not found.

Can you do Oni version of this for a HRAP EX?
I’m also looking for an Oni stick art but for a TE. I got a round 2 stick and I want to make a black and blue color scheme to it.

My Evil Ryu template. Not done yet, any suggestions? I’m not sure where to put the “Satsui Ryu” and I’m also not sure if the japanese is correct.
I’ll also make a Oni one soon.
殺意波動 - Satsui no Hado. None of the kanji match.
Also, officially, Ryu’s name is spelled with 隆, but there’s probably different ways of spelling it. The only time it was spelled that way was in the original Street Fighter anyways, Ryu’s name is spelled in Katakana form everywhere else (リュウ).
Use the full title: Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Ryu (殺意 の 波動 に 目覚めた リュウ).
