Thanks for the saturation tip. Like I said my photoshop skills are weak. But I figured out how to do it and it looks MUCH better. However with decreasing the image size. Morrigan pretty much has to stay that size or the image would need massive surgery to fit. Where the image cuts off around the edges is where the actual image of Morrigan stops. If I try to make her smaller her head gets covered up by the buttons. If I leave her head above the buttons then the art has no legs.

Since she has to stay that size when I made the other girls smaller they just looks out of place in comparison to the much larger Morrigan. And Thanks again to the entire community here for your help. You have all been a HUGE help. Once this is done I will have to decide if im modding my chun li stick or picking up a different one(since im not sure the blue case will look good with the black art image)and then what color buttons. I saw those new “quiet” buttons maybe ill grab them.

@ soothsayer Oh and I liked your image as well. I had both images already on my hard drive (I have about 200 or so pictures of psylocke on here) But Kwannon/Revanche was quite possibly the most head ache inducing period of the psylocke character. I try to forget it.

Fair enough not as headache inducing as Ultimate Spiral though.

Haha true. her being a “mutant” confused me. Oh, and I think I might be using a new piece of psylocke art instead.

i’d say lighten the drop shadow on the foreground arthur a tad and its perfect. this is a very good design, imo.

i cant think of anything i would change.

so i not around here very often, but i have a request if someone is willing to take it up, i have a Chun-li limited edition TE, which was cool til everyone and their mother had one, so id like to personalize mine a bit more with a stick art, i had no idea what to do for the longest time but I’ve decided id like a Blue Mary stick, shes one of my favorites from KOF, I don’t really know where i would go with it i just have a picture and id like it to go well with the blue translucent bases of the Chun TE, i was hoping one of you creative peoples could tackle it, there is some amazing work on here, anyway let me know, thanks in advance

I just made this for someone on Stick Request board, hasn’t gotten back to me on what he loves/hates/wants to change yet. What do you think?

I really like it Soothsayer. You do great work. I might even of just requested you make me my fightstick if I wasn’t so dead set on doing it myself despite it not looking as good. Sometimes the effort you put into the stick art is worth more than the art itself What will the image look like once it is put on a stick? That middle symbol looks like it would be torn up pretty heavily by button/stick placement.

In other news I think I have settled on my stick art. I would love to hear some opinions as well. Sure the idea isn’t totally original but when I saw d3v’s “tron tron” background I knew I had the chun and psylocke pictures ready to go. Since I am going to mod the buttons anyways I might grab some LEDs but I have no idea where to start. I figure 6 white or blue and then 2 purple.

what would as look good with the LED buttons would be to see if u can have to neon parts transparent somewhat to have it light up from the bottom, cause i haven’t seen anyone try that b4. (i think)

Yeah I am just glad I got the art finished. Its taken me the better part of two days. Now a few quick questions. LED buttons. What would be the easiest way of getting them in. I have no experience with soldering. So I am looking for pre made, good quality, LED buttons that fit into my chun-li stick. (so what ever fit into TE-S style) Also it looks like I will be needing to order plexi glass. So I might just have Art print out the image and buy plexi from him. When he says the “TE FULL” fits the TE-S perfectly does that mean without the bezel? Probably a question I would need to email him for but I figured I might ask here.

And thanks again for everyones help. Now I have to make that final decision of do I really want to mod my chun li stick since it was limited edition. Or do I buy a new one and change the art on it.

It fits it perfectly,so whatever came stock on the TE-S is what it’ll fit with. By the way I’m pretty sure Bezels are only on R1/2 Fightsticks? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

P.S. Pretty sure Art hates when people email him questions that are covered in his Mile-long “read-me.” Just gotta dig deep enough to look for your answer
