I get where you are coming from, and i honestly agree with what you said…I’m still going to give people a hard time when they post pony sticks, because Im noticing a trend with this show that i hope does not continue to increase in popularity. My advice, however is unbiased. If i can offer advice that may improve a design like in rizamustang’s case, then i will offer it. if i respond to a post in this topic that seems negative in some way, i usually dont mean it to be as harsh as it sounds. honestly, pony sticks posted so far aren’t really bad at all from a design standpoint. there’s not really much to improve upon.
but seriously… ugh. ponies.

Well i think theres a couple in there that are really good compared to the old ones that make for interesting designs.
Oh dont get me wrong the pic are nicely done but they are stock photos and those seem so common, you see them on just about anything that has to do with the game. I like to look for pic that look nice but are not so overly used so you can have that custom look to your template. These are good pics to use as a fading background i guess but as for making it a main focus or one of the main focusing picture, not so much kinda gives it a template a generic cookie cutter look to it.
Heres my updated x template i was going for a futuristic look with the button area so I eventualy thought of using d3vs BB button layout and modifying it for the v3. I used a patchwork filter over the lines to give them a pixelated led digital-ish look.

Its Nice but that Button layout your using seems to be done to death, everyone and there brother seems to use that and its just lost its originality. Try making your own button layout, try to stear clear of that outdated one.
Anyone have a good font I could us for my art( below). I keep getting complements on everything except for the font with his name. My art is the first post on this page.
Maybe check out dafont.com? Has a lot of fonts there, and you can see what it looks like before you download it.

These are going on a Walnut case, I just wanna get some criticism before I print 'em out. I don’t wanna get them printed, only to find out that there is some small imperfection that I will be annoyed with.
Front: I am not sure if i’m going to put a border or text on… even if I did want to, i’m not sure what font or border type i’d use. ;_;
