This is going on my first fightstick, Qanba Q4RAF. I’m using a different version for the printing since I tried to grasp how the buttons would look with this image.

Art for my first stick, which I will hopefully have completed in roughly 2 weeks when the parts come in. The art is by the same guy who made the EU cover for Blazblue CT, and edited by me in order to extend it.
Improvements made to my art. Any one know how it insert IMGs in to the back ground where the Slashes are I’ve been trying to do this but its confusing. The slashes are made with a special paint brush if that helps.

Just make the slashes on their own layer, cut them to another layer if you have to. then select them and clear them for both the slash layer and the one underneath. now any image you put underneath will show through.

Thank you but I’m still lost. I’ve made the bleed area black so that the main part of the back ground is black. After that I made a layer for the slashes of red and then copied that layer. After that I went to the bleed layer so that I can past it(It says that the slashes I pasted were on a floating layer) there and remove the extra parts of the slashes that wet out of the template. I lowered the opacity(I also tried to make the layer transparent) and anchored the layer but when I went to insert an image of Shadow where one of the slashes were I could not see him. Also lowering the opacity makes the slashes much darker. What I’m I doing wrong.
upload your file, i’ll look at it, make sure the image you want to show through is in that file.
wow, and i thought my templates were too busy and random. you’ve got too many different types of art styles in there. random “you win” and directions and other logos.
That stick would look so clean with the left image and the splatters alone
What exactly did you want done because I mean the easiest way I can think of to do what you want done is just opaciate the images a little and erase outside the edges, or do you want them full color and all? The other way would be to go back and make each of those Slashes outside of the painted layer that you made them and more of an erase into a Red Background, one by one.
The second method would in the end probably look better depending but require more work.
I’m no expert just a novice.
here you go. Just had to do what i suggested and fix the layer order. not sure if you want shadow’s foot in the middle slash…
also get rid of the ugly outline on the shadows…but i don’t know if you wanted to keep those…

that picture you posted is really tiny, but what does a DNA strand have to do with nova? don’t know much about him, maybe he’s a scientist or something…
