Hey, those are amazing! I’m just curious, but how did you put the console buttons above the pushbuttons? I couldn’t find any images for them anywhere.
I had trouble finding good images for them too so I just made them myself in Photoshop.
Thanks for the excitement guys, trust me they are pretty much 99.9% done. The only problem i have is getting a constant even bend. Sometimes it is perfect and sometimes it is not so it is just too hit and miss right now for me to have them in the lineup, it would waste too much plexi and money. I am just working on getting a better heating element but they cost a couple hundred but when i get one i will put the SE plexi covers in the lineup.

if there were any that were new pieces then i would say yes but so as to not waste any new plexi i would use scrap pieces for the tests

yea and his main problem with it was the warping which happens much easier with acrylic than it does lexan

Ordering smoke ‘clear’ sanwa buttons and a mesh top black ball for the stick too.
May also get two 24mm violet/black buttons for star select but i’m not sure yet.
This is my first fight stick art… And my first REAL time experimenting with photoshop, so please don’t be too harsh, but i do want as much constructive criticism as possible, i’m stuck as for things to do and i’m wondering if I’m finished or not, haha.
freakin love the sprites where the buttons are gonna go. for ur first time it came out bad ass, keep up the good work.
That’s VERY good, especially if this really is your first time with stick art. Clearly, you’ve had past experience with Photoshop at least. I really don’t see anything that could be wrong with your art. But of course, that’s just my personal opinion. I like it a lot though.
Here’s the Karin stick I posted up earlier, except I managed to add the buttons this time around. Also, I removed the Capcom logo and instead put on of Karin’s quotes at the bottom. Please tell me what you think.
I’m not a fan of the quote, I think it’s the font, try something a little cleaner maybe. I don’t usually like using the same character art twice on one stick, but it’s not bad here. The colours are nice as well, they suit the character. However, please, please center the button labels on each button, and use a consistent spacing from each button (also consider that’s just the hole, there’s 1.5mm all around it that will be covered too). My OCD demands it.
Oh, my apologizes. I’ll admit that I’m not exactly an expert when it comes to critiquing stick art. I hadn’t even noticed all that just now until you had pointed it out. Even so, I can’t help but still like the design, lol.

The final and thus far, best Hit Box template. I personally guarantee you can cut and print from this with no issues. If you guys could get it posted on the front page, that would be good for everyone.
