Edit: Now that I thought about it that sf4 font did look crappy on this I hope this new text I put on here is a bit better. Plus I switched the DMC logo with an older but better one.

Found this Forum a couple of weeks ago, and it inspired me to do some art for the first time in years. So, I’ve just finished my Ragna Stick art for my TE. Couldn’t find a pic of Rags I wanted to use so I did a custom piece.
I think it maybe needs some writing under the Guide button block, but I haven’t been able to find anything suitable yet.
Any comments/ suggestions would be appreciated.

I like the character art you made, but I think the background is a little busy, and might look nice in a contrasting (rather than near-matching) colour. The red business coming out of his hand could use a smaller stroke as well. As for text under the guide button, “ARCADE FIGHTSTICK [WHATEVER] EDITION” is common because that’s what’s on the TE. You could also put just a simple “Ragna the Bloodedge” in a nice font, or the BlazBlue logo.
Do you know/ have the font for the “Arcade Fightstick” text? I have no idea what font it’s written in.
The “red business” stroke is because his power manifests as red with a thick red/black outline. But yeah, the background just kinda… happened that way. I did originally, believe it or not, plan on the design being a little more minimilist.
I’ll work on toning the BG colour down. Thanks for the suggestions, dude.
I assume you’re UK based? Where do you get lamilables printed here? I’ve been scouring the net for UK places but no-one seems to do them, at least, not unless I wanna bulk order…

The name’s confusing for people sometimes, I’m actually Canadian! I’m not a huge fan of lamilabels anyway, and since you have a TE I suggest getting a plexi panel for it. There are a million and one places to order them, but I’m not sure which have the best shipping rates to the UK.
Look I put button labels on the art. No idea how to line everything up properly though. Anyway, again, any tips or changes I should/could make to this?

Yeah lamilabels work alright but you do suffer a bit with the loss of surface quality over time. Mine hasnt like “scratched” yet, but there are little indentations in the lamination itself from where things would normally have scratched it. You can barely see it and only when you bend light over it, but it is there. biggest recommendation id give is to make sure its printed at a place that does good photo printing, and leave places like Kinkos and other print shops out of your search. Their printers didnt do my artwork a justice, and totally obliterated the colors on it. It still looks good, but doesnt credit the artists original work nearly as much as it should. Im looking forward to getting a plexi for it and printing it at a decent shop.
It obviously needs more cowbell.
