Like the above comment stated, it is squished horizontally (or stretched vertically) You really need to keep the image proportions correct. If the pic isn’t big enough try and find a better one or get creative with borders and such. Cool image though.

Not a fan of mixing renders with with 3d ones and non 3d’s. You can always use the sfxtekken official renders.
Fancied making a Chun-Li stick design so i went ahead and did, this is what i came up with:

i think you should move the left chun a few notches over just so her shoulder and fingers aren’t cut off. I think you can also get away with making the background chun a little less transparent
I like the new one better, but that blue stroke on all the characters looks way out of place. Maybe change it to red if you want to keep it so it matches the new backround better or white with a slight opacity to match the gray in the backround, or the white text being used so it blends in overall.
i put the blue stroke on the characters to match my buttons, the color was off so i fixed that and put in the buttons just to gauge how it looks.
That would make it make sense then. It just seemed way out of place not knowing that’s what color the buttons were :D. Loves me so HSotD.

I tried it too and got the same error. I’m using CS5.
that template seems very busy with that background. especially the copyright text on the bottom right. I think you should enlarge the background so you don’t see it.
I need a bit of advice, if you lovely gentleman would be so kind. I’ve been working on this Asuka Hit Box design on and off for about a month now, and I’m quite literally stumped with what to do with it from here. I was thinking maybe some kind of purplish pink circle motif, similar to the designs on the guitar, but I haven’t the slightest clue how to work Illustrator. I’m Photoshop pro, but completely terrible in Illustrator, I don’t even know how to correctly open my PSD for editing (or even HOW to edit it).
If anybody could give me tips on going from Photoshop to Illustrator or what design ideas speak to them about this stickart, I would greatly appreciate it.
well first off i think you need to bring more of the design into the template. you’re cutting out a lot of the guitar and her red ear things. the black outline is what is really gonna show up, the red is just a safe zone in case it’s not 100% cut accurately. anything outside of this is definitely not going to show up.
Don’t worry about doing things in illustrator, you can pretty much do the same work with the pen tool and shapes in photoshop. unless you’re making vector art or transforming text, I would stay inside photoshop.
Edit: Also, that guitar is cut off at the end. That might be a problem.
Where’s the original hd pic, i’ll try to complete the guitar for you. it’s kinda my thing…i like a small challenge

New version and most likely “final” choice on my stick art. Gonna get this ordered soon hopefully! Now if i can just find the gumption to try painting a deadpool balltop to match, and hoping my button cutouts are of appropriate size.
