How exactly do you do a combo on sent and bring him down into the infinite? Sent is usually above normal jump height and can fly back at will - Hard drive will beat out sj Hurricane kicks.
I really don’t think Ken has a good match up against Sent unless he can put him in the corner or land a random sj Lp, into hurrican kick combo.
Sent basically can zone the shit out of ken, command roll ain’t gonna help nor is calling an assist and doing sj Hurricane kick.

Edit - Head crush does less than fullbar on a level arcade machine (when mashed for 8 hits) I don’t think it does 100% when you have an multi hitting assist to scale (reduce) the damage.

Just got thru testing out the headcrush on magneto and it actually does only 80% damage on magneto when hes not glitched out. But u can easily still kill him if u know what ur doing and have more than one meter just do the juggernaught super infinite. It will waste one more meter but u can still kill the character. Also the ken infinite is done from a standing launch but if ur execution is real good u can start the infinite from the air. I personally cannot do the combo out of the air. But I have seen buckethead do it out of the air from just a jab. He was the one who came up with the combo. If u want to see a ken kill a good sent go look at some of vdo matches. I seen destroy whole teams without a assist. If u are a good player u can get in on sent by either wave dashing then dragon punch or just jumping doing hurricane kick. If u hit with the hurricane kick coming out of the air you can land first do l. jab, l. jab tiger knee hurricane kick. It will take around 40% to 50%. And if ur from h-town and want to see a good ken juggernaught team come watch me I can beat a lot of ppl who play msp and sentinal. I play at stargate all the time. Just ask someone for big chris then ask me to play team fifth floor. I’ll play u and show u why juggernaught and ken are good. If Ill e still posts and u have ne questions about my juggernaught and ken just ask him. I use to play with him some times at stargate.

I’d like to see Buckethead put out a vid with this in it.
I’m still dubious about Ken getting a launcher on sent, or getting inside frying pan range with hurricane kicks but I won’t keep argueing.

yo is sabertooth a good character to play with for low tier hes like a bigger wolverinr right??? i think is best teams with doom though. and what piority does his s.hp have vs tri dashers or rush downs???

Dont know if this has been covered already, but here goes. . .

I’ve been using this for quite some time. . .Call a LK zombie, knock him down, and when an opponent tries to approach you, push block them into the zombie. . . .works. . .Most people forget that the zombie bites your feet, too. The only problem I ever came across with it was how exactly do you go about putting the zombie n the right place. . . .What I do most times is an up close c.lk, c.lk, c.hk xx zombie. I do this for two reasons.

Reason 1.If they block, I can jump back and knock the zombie down in mid-screen. If they know about zombies, they’ll try to maneuver around the zombie, in most cases you’ll know what they are going to do, so it’s in your favor. Also, if they do get around the zombie chances are they’re going to try to rush you. Pushblock, and voila. Free Air combo for you. I’ve found this even works when they attack from the air. I’ve had a sent Super jump and come down with HK, only to be pushed into the zombie.

Reason 2. If the c.lk,c.lk,c.hk connects, still cancel into the lk zombie. If they roll, the zombie will automatically grab them on wake-up. If not, then there are quite a few follow ups you could use, depending on your team. One of my favorites is Jill.Juggernaut.Cammy. In a situation where my kick string would connect, I would have done c.lk, c.lk, c.hk + cammy AAA xx zombie. This leaves them nowhere to go. If they rool, the zombie will grab them. If they dont, when you see Cammy hit, you can qcf + pp on reaction, the cancel to a (most likely glitched, in my case :lovin: Headcrush.) Then you can go back to your regulary scheduled programming

Stamina Dhalsim takes 112% of an attack.

Rating: BadBut not Akuma bad.

Defense Dhalsim can really protect himself from Magneto and Storm from full screen since you can throw out his far moves to distance yourself from them. However, to fight vs. them when they are directly above your or in your face can be difficult. When theyre above you doing an OC.HP isnt out of the question since it comes out in 3 frames and has really good priority. As for Sentinel - Dhalsim has really good mobilitySo you can airdash out of his moves.

Rating: Good.

Ability to land combos Dhalsim can triangle jump just as fast as Magneto and Storm can so that alone makes him really good. But, he has more, he can poke you from practically full screen and do damage from full screen.

Rating: Very good!

Mobility - Dhalsim has more mobility than Sentinel, Magneto, and Storm combined! Heres why, he has an 8 way airdash that can go straight to drill which means he will land on the floor faster than Magneto and Storm (Dhalsim, Mag, and Storm have the same numbers but because it is humans playing, Dhalsim is faster). Dhalsim can teleport in the air (on top of the screen) and re-airdash/drill (which puts you in normal jump mode). His fly is the same speed if not faster than sentinel + he can teleport or airdash --> drill out of it.

Rating: The Best!

Damage Output Alone and mid-screen, Dhalsim cant do that much damage on his own. However, when he is in the corner or close to you mid screen he can easily do upwards of 50% on anyone who isnt Sentinel!

Rating: Very Good (when youre close to the guy. When youre not close to the person

Bad

Chip - Dhalsim has NOTHING that is safe + chips enough to be mentioned.

Rating: Non-existent :sad:

Presence (assist/DHC/counter possibility) His Anti-Air assist is extremely good because of the angle and the speed it has. His fire assist is just absolutely horrible, and his ground assist (yoga flame) is good to keep people at distance from the ground. His DHC ability (into) is really good since his Yoga Inferno is unrollable, that means if storm does a full air combo (nearly on top of the screen) she can DHC into Dhalsims Inferno and you can get unrollable follow up. If youre in the corner with Sentinel, you can do flying HP xx :qcf: :2p: xx :qcf: :2k: and because of the way the dummy bounces he will get hit by the strike and they cant do a thing. As for counter possibility he can get unblockbles! Oh yeah, he can also get them by DHCing OUT.

Rating: This guy should be top tier

Other Unblockables, FSD, unrollables, strike, being able to hit you from full screen This guy has a lot of stuff, needs to be explored!..

This is no where near anything good (post wise)…Just stuff you should try around and figure out/find more stuff with.

i think you’re missing the best part of his defense… (infinite runaway… sj, teleport, airdash, repeat)

Ah, I forgot! Thanks. Cable has a ridiculously hard time catching him from that… Scimitars miss a lot… AHVB doesn’t reach. Oh! Random (f) cr/s hp’s are safe… Also you can bait out assists by doing (f) cr.lp cr.mp (slowly enough so they call out an assist) CR> HK/ yoga fire right away + Sentinel (A)!:pleased: <~ Stands for pleased, much like you will be if that works.

Dhalsim is pretty well-documented, it’s just that people never actually play him, so he sort of dissapeared. In a nutshell:

-Runaway
-High priority on long-range normals (think Megaman vs Storm/Mag)
-DHC (s.fp xx Yoga Strike xx HSF/Hail/etc
-Long combos that Japanese players used to do
-Guard Break -> Inferno (or Strike if blocked)

DJB13 did a vid on him, if you can find it. Also , there are 2 Dhalsim vids at Preppy’s site, in the tutorials/combo video section. He can also combo into the Yoga Blast xx Inferno midscreen, apparently.

yeah… his 164 hit fsd combo does like full life and you build like an entire meter and a half… whats funny is that his simple 6-7 fierce (in a row) combo does a tiny bit less than that… lol

Anyone feel like doing a quick run-down on Jill? I’ve seen some interesting things in the thread about her lk zombie and I’m sure she’s got some really fun tricks.

Zaza vids…they wouldn’t work on the PC I was using, so I burned them to a CD and played them on my DVD player. I was that deeply in need of some Wolverine Love.

Joe Zaza Teaches Wolverine thread not around anymore, so I will bring up that jumping Fierce as an overhead is hella nice vs Sent, and I like the divekick/drill claw jump mode shennanigans.

Also, that match vs Viscant, I think…Double Wolvie/Sent vs Doom/S/S…too good. Zaza appaerntly went insane about halfway through the match and just started beasting.
