Wow so I’m in Portland and um, yeah I hang with random select we have bi weekly gathers where we play SF4 alot, and we could be the beginnings of a badass scene.
But my question is about being random.

About the Fei-Long infinite, after 5 reps it dizzies them… but it’s not like you can just combo into ultra from there to kill them. Damage scaling from comboing carries over after the dizzy, so you deal near-zero damage. I’m not for or against the ban, but just thought I’d throw that information out there.
Heard a rumor that Fei can reset scaling after dizzy using his command throw, but I don’t know if that’s actually true.
Also, if the infinite’s being banned, it’s probably important to clarify what behavior is actually being banned.
You can’t continue performing the infinite after they get dizzied to make the timer run out?
You can’t perform enough reps to dizzy them (usually 5)?
You can’t combo into a second chicken wing?
Can you combo into one chicken wing and then combo after it with sHP into rekkas?
What about EX chicken wing, which hits fully against more characters than Abel? Is it ok to loop with that? (It’s not an infinite because it requires meter) – and to what extent can that be combined with the meterless version (vs. Abel)
I don’t think it should be banned unless it’s something that’s being banned everywhere.
Is the timing as tricky as the Fuerte infinite? Seems too difficult to set up to justify banning IMO. Seattle is famous for playing a game with it’s own set of much easier infinites after all.
That’s what I’m saying. I don’t see any reason it should be banned. Fuerte has a solid infinite on all characters. Fei has an infinite on 2 character, and its banned?
The command grab doesn’t reset the scaling.
This should not be banned, while it can be setup after a few of fei longs tools, and the timing isn’t that bad if you figure it out, it works on two characters in the game, and you still have to hit someone with a hp point blank to get it to work. I say leave it be, until it gets proven that its really bad for the game, because right now it doesn’t seem that way.

EDIT: also fuerte fp loop isn’t really that practical get a lot of hits on most just go for 3 or 4 and then knockdown because if you mess it up usually you are going to get punched in the face.

Just so you guys know, Fuerte’s loop is not an infinite. It’s really easy to do though, actually, if you ask me. I can’t do Fei’s infinite but I can do Fuerte’s loop. Ease of use is not really a concern, but it’s not an infinite, which is one reason not to ban it. The other is it’s his only soruce of damage. He would be in his own tier without it. How are you gonna ban it, he can’t even do two fierces into slide? Because that’s a rep of the ‘infinite’. :rolleyes: It would be ridiculous.

Nothing is BANNED right now. I even edited the OP and omitted the part about the fei shit. So why does this shit still get brought up? You guys are going to confuse the shit outta every new person that reads this thread.
