Well, I wasn’t hoping for him in particular, but the whole extra characters thing. However, since his style is based on Toki’s, I was just concerned that if he were to be added, we’d end up with two cheap characters instead of one.
I played it in the summer of '01 when I was on vacation in Hong Kong. It was awesome, and it does put you in the HnK atmosphere like you said :nunchuck:
Never knew AI used to have it, though. I’ve only been in the States for about 1.5 years now, it must’ve been taken out before I was here (which is a shame since I would’ve loved to play it again).
I guess they could give him a “stance change” move where he could cycle through each cast member’s move set
Zankai Ken is the level 2 super that he already has (countdown to death). The move you want is Hokuto Jyuuji Zan. And I agree, it would be cool as an alternate FKO against Shin.
Hmm… does the station master there also have an ambition to rule the world? :razzy:
HNK2 characters would be nice. In general, i’d like to see:
Joker
Hy?i
Shuren
Fud?
J?za
Rihaku
The Colonel
Amiba
Raiga & Fuuga
Ry?ga
Falco
Hy?
Kai?
And that American guy that travelled in a chariot drawn by a guy (funny shit). I think his name was Boxer?
Thanks for the info, that’s kind of what I suspected you would have to do.
For the fast super… maybe boost into it? When you boost, you can actually cut off hit-pause. So say if you connected with a strong move that causes a lot of hit pause, if you boost into the super on the very first frame the move, you actually can make the super start up faster than it would if you just canceled into it.
Trying doing something like 2D 236236E+C … but remember the timing is different than a normal cancel, you have to hit E+C much earlier than a gattling cancel.
A lot of characters actually use this kind of stuff. Thouther has to do it for his combo that goes:
2B 2B 236A 236C(1) 6CDE 6 …
Also I’m pretty sure it’s also the cause of such things as Rei’s infinite hit DP (which has a negative frame startup. The uppercut hits while the other person is still in hit pause).
IMO the HnK threads had become off-topic a long time ago. A significant portion of the first thread was talk about the anime/movie or people talking about wanting to play the game. I can sympathize with the people doing this somewhat, since only a handful of people have a chance to play this game, but it ends up being terrible for people who actually can and have to sift through a lot of posts to get some relevant information. I think it’s not fair for those people at all.
