NA sucks all around for competition, same goes for fighters. Team USA was embarrassing. Bunch of guys stretching themselves in to many game while not putting in the work for it.
Like they are all trying to be mini-Tokidos. Stop it U.S.!
But our NA LoL division is terrible, most of those players make more money goofing around on their respective Twitch channels. So that is what they are going to do.
I always thought C9 were overrated and they proved that when they got eliminated in their first series of games. Granted, I give them credit for having such a good record during LCS, even if it is in NA, it’s still quite an accomplishment. But who were they beating? They were mainly either beating a bunch of past-their-prime teams with past-their-prime players, or playing against no name teams who maybe have one or two stand out players.
I wish C9 didn’t have a free ride to the quarter finals. I think playing a bunch of foreign teams would have been good for them, they did pretty well in match 1 and 2 against fnatic, they probably could have gotten a lot of solid practice against non US teams.
Use both. Shen’s split push and map presence with his ult is amazing, especially is lower ELO where most people don’t keep tha tin mind when going in deep, and Nasus is amazing for focusing on the mid to late game. If you can learn when to go in with him and when to just sit back on focus on farm, he’s a great character to use. He might actually be slightly overpowered in my opinion, but for the most part in a good spot. He can still be shut down early on…but never count him out.
They got eliminated in the first series game against one of other top 8 teams in the world, after having a commanding lead in game 1, then winning game 2. Had they not thrown their advantage in game one they would have made fnatic look like chumps. It’s obvious they are held back by the fact that the rest of america doesn’t provide adequate competition, but IMO those matches proved they are at a similar level to fnatic.
Sweet, new thread with a working OP.
IMO Nasus is a slightly better champ late game because of wither. It’s got pretty great range and is always up. Shen is a lot more effective early/mid game but in the late game stage Nasus can be pretty tanky and still dish out stupid loads of damage.
Yeap, as long as we don’t go through three forum changes in two weeks again we should be okay, lol. I just want to do right by the community.
Nasus and Shen are both good to learn, especially if you know, one is banned out (Shen bans used to be all the rage).
Personally I love Shen, he’s very mobile and deadly when built right. Nasus I haven’t had to much luck on but I learned to respect him and that sick nasty Q when charges are built up.
Neither of those characters should be hard to learn to lane with. It’s just basic top lane mechanics. The tricky part is Shens decision making. There is literally nothing tricky to know about Susan. Maybe knowing what skill to level in certain match ups and not dying early but again that is basic top lane knowledge.
To note with Shen make sure you vorpal blade first to get the regen.
Not just Wither dude. He has an infinitely scaling Q as you farm it up that is extremely low CD and can be used on towers. Definitely a stronger late game than Shen, though not as flexible.
Did anyone see the Destiny stream where he interviews xj9? I used to like xj9’s stream because of his jungle style and I didn’t really care that he was a brony or pretended to be a girl but this stuff is insane. He posted nudes of his gf because she was playing lee “uselees” sin and apparently he’s a stalker, and just really awkward and probably a sociopath…
The entire thing is 7 hours but here are some highlights
he has alway been strange. only watched his stream a few times but, it was interesting.
remember someone put up a vid of pooskie nude. League Drama OP as fuck
He’s a good jungler. In fact, he’s very good. However, the kid clearly has emotional problems and should probably get help and get out more. I was hoping he’d get unbanned, as I think most people deserve a second chance, and hoped he’d just keep his drama on the down low, but that was not to be. At the end of the day, it’s just a video game, and whatever crusade he’s on to screw with his “ex” over the fact that he got banned and she didn’t is useless at this point.
Speaking of junglers mains, am I the only guy who can’t stand Trick2g? He comes off as a total wigger to me (I don’t know his nationality) and his trash talking during his streams/youtube videos is annoying as hell to me.
No I dislike him as well. He is far too annoying for me to listen to his stream. I also don’t think he is a good enough of a player to warrant his popularity he is more like destiny in people like to watch his bad manners and rage.
The only pro streams I ever watch are Scarra and rarely Aphromoo, and that is about it. Pretty much any other one I’ve seen is just some pissant kid bitching the whole time with WUBSTEP beat dropping in the background.
Trick’s not too bad. His cocky bullshit attitude just comes from wanting to provide a character to his stream for entertainment (and to garner views). It’s easy to notice that when he actually starts focusing on the game or relaxes and plays, he sounds very normal and laidback and just gives advice while playing. But people find it hilarious when he trash talks while playing, and hilarious things bring you subscribers.
Edit - As far as his skill level goes, I don’t really have an opinion. Also, Aphromoo is great.
