Maybe a “bad” Ryu player isn’t hard to mix-up, and then again, even the bad Ryu player can get lucky and SRK on wakeup >> FADC >> Ultra you. I’d say, if he has meter, be very cautious about jumping in on wakeup against Ryu (either jump or DF). That said, you can always try a jump in or DF just to see what he does. If he SRK’s you on wakeup, then it’s probably better to not try it again or too often. You can also do FADC backdash from close range after knockdown. Or double-dash, forward jump and tatsu at the apex to try and catch him with a vortex. If he’s the twitchy sort, he just may try to do an SRK on wakeup that will whiff leaving him open for a bnb combo. Then there’s the safe jump or a cross-up.
The important thing is to not be predictable. If you can keep him guessing, chances are you’re going to have a much easier time pressuring him after you knock him down.
cammy is akumas worse match up. akuma is all about camping and cammy is anti camp.

i’m pretty sure you can’t safe jump against ryu, ken, and akuma because their srk has a 3 frame startup unlike sagat for example, who has a 5 frame startup.
Akuma is certainly not “all about 'camping.”

Using Akuma as a aggressive fighter will only get you so far. In my opinion Akuma is used as a zoning character then punish you when you have a open window then go for some mix ups to end the round and I say this because the best Akuma in the world(momochi) is not a aggressive Akuma like we have seen with certain people.
As far As Ryu well you have to be careful when doing mix ups on him. His DP is something not to take lightly and you must have damn near perfect timing to use Akuma. So my advice is use training mode to atlease try to perfect the cross ups and learn different mix ups as well.
I am starting to think the Ryu matchup is NOT 5/5 as people say, but is 4/6 or worse.
Ryu has some unfair advantages over Akuma, like s.rh 2nd hit whiffing, c.mk > hado that is better, and above all srkherpderp > ultra.

i was wondering do you guys think i should post with each character the ideal punish for each move they do? for example under ken since he comes right to mind say he does fierce srk and misses i could record punishes such as bnb, and demon, and things such as that do u think it would be helpful for match up knowledge and to help new ppl? also i was thinking of finding what i think its the best way to fight a certain character and linking it to the character section i have a lot of free time now that i am not in school and i wanna know what you guys think about these suggestions i want a full and extremely helpful match up section
Update all sections as they’re still completely out of date and out of whack. For example, hit up the last few pages and find the Bison info that was posted by B0kkin, add it to his section. Look above for a correction on the Blanka section.

quick question yall:
forward throw into dash x2 jump towards opponent is a perfect safe jump satup versus characters taht are safe jumpable (midscreen). so why do i never see this?
it like all safe jumps can be empty jumped into low short or throw. plus this is akumas crossup tatsu setup as well (timings vary slightly)
anywho i used to use the double dash to mk demon flip… but its hard for me to get working cause the timing/spacing seems extremely strict…
but then i found this safe jump and have been using it as a great way to setup all of his other mixups.
so my q is why havent i seen it being used at all? is there something bad that i am missing?

Boxer’s ex armor break rush (non overhead one) what is the best (non super) punish…I really hate this move…the ex version even beats cammy’s ultra (not relevant but still!)…it seems lp dp is too far…hp dp hits once then sails high and alone…
