I have every trade physical and digital. The current recolors are great too. I also have several books signed by Stan Sakai.
When my best friend went to emerald city comic-con last year, Stan Sakai was there. He got one of Stan’s most recent art books for me and signed by Stan. He told Stan how heart broken I was that I couldn’t come to the con to see him since Usagi is my favorite comic book of all time.
My friend said when he told that to Stan he looked super super happy and appreciative that his work meant that much to someone.

The new Ghost in the Shell uses it too and by the 3rd episode I was used to it. Stick with it, the feeling passes.
I’m not a huge fan of it either tho as far as looks are concerned. In GITS everyone looks like an action figure which is a bit unfortunate for a series that deals with such weighty issues.
