Damn I might need to go up to North Carolina to play some NGBC…I guess you guys, NYC, and Cali are the NGBC states with more than 2 people (me and Gual in Dallas) that play the game at a very high level.

Man, CajunStrike and I had one of the most intenst finals matches at Summer Slugfest III. He put me in losers and then I had to come back to win. Both sets went to 7 matches. We played a total of 17 matches. Cajun put me in losers with a 3-0 count (I got whooped), then the first set went like this. Cajun wins first 2 (2-0), I won the next 2 (2-2) he wins the next one (3-2) and I won the last 2 (4-3 pixel damage win). I think the last set we just traded off winning. I won the first match and the last. We didn’t get any footage though, but I’m sure we got some people interested in the game. I used Kaede, Kim, Kyo, Washizuka, Moriya. He used Hotaru, Cyber Woo, Marco, Haohmaru. Last Blade FTW!!
Dammit, I want that title! :bgrin: AWESOME matches man, those finals were rough. Congrats.
DG: This coming weekend in VA is a tourney on 7/1 and 7/2, and they’re having Coliseum. We’re going up there as well. I know it’s a loooong way for ya though.

For those of you who are wanting actual hard file copies of these, I’m in the process of converting all the matches to AVI and then archiving them. When Sie is done posting all the vids, I’ll see if I can upload the vids somewhere, that is if it’s ok with him and the others.

Sie and CajunStrike/Beast of Fire etc…whenever you guys come down to Dallas let me know…I will give you guys a place to crash and youll be honored guests…since you guys play the hell out of NGBC…a rarity around my area seriously…I envy you guys…having constant access to high level competition (yourselves) I only got access to one other person…limiting what I see until I play someone else…at a tournament

Nak should be bottom tier still, Geese should be D Class at least, Rock as well,

Anyways, as for the tiers, perhaps Nako should be bottom D, and Geese bottom C. Because there is no way Nako is a craptastic as Yuki and I still think Geese has so many more options than the rest. As for Big, the reason why I put him in A is because he still has his bad matchup against Hotaru. While she and Kim, are solid for the mostpart against everybody. But maybe you’re right, I just use Geese way too much afterall myself, so that could be why I put him so high.
I also don’t think Akari/Moriya are good enough to be in B Class also…
Reason why I put them up there was because of Akari has mad pokes, awesome SC, and one insane rushdown. Moriya is powerful, has a decent level 2 SC, and a nice set of pokes and strings. Where would you place them, because if I were to move em’, I’d just put them on the bottom of B rank, or top of C. How does that sound?
yeah I’d say bottom B/C…Akari even though she has what you say and moriya is powerful…both have a hella hard time against the A Class, and S Class…they both keep them out of High B Class
Mai is certainly higher than C Class too trust me(B class probably)…easy as hell damage off like one combo makes her a constant threat. St.Cxxf+bxxqcb+axxqcfx2 in air and D…GREAT DAMAGE a serious threat she is.
Keep up the good work though man… Akari was known to be C Class…bc yes her wakeup gme is great but other than that and the Ghost train super you’ve gotta play her tricky…yes the d,u+Kx2xxSC move is nice…but I think she needs to be bottom B or top C…that sounds about right…most people in this game IMO are mid tier.
