Whoa, I’ve been gone from the fighting game scene and this is the 1st time I’ve heard of this game. Is it an Arcade only game right now?

Yeah they got last blade guys in, but expect them to play like kof guys… snk’s been turning other gamers into a Kofer for basically all of their crossovers.
I still want some more obscure characters like the Magician Lord He would rock the house. Think of it you could change up fighting style by doing a quick motion to change from the Wizard, to Dragon, to Ninja. That would make for a very interesting character.

Btw did you mean bob wilson? yeah he was actually really good i dont really like the black man using caporia or boxing but bob was fun and good to boot, duck king is nice to i remember him in RB1 he was a monster definently my fave duck king i normally steer clear of the dancing buffons and shit again his overall move set and play style shoon through.

Whats wrong with a black character using Capoeira? Im in the country of Capoeira, and i can say for a fact that most people in the lessons is black. Reality is not offensive.
Plus, KOF:MI had a white capoeirista.
There’s nothing wrong with a black character using that fighting style at all, all i’m saying is that i dont really like them with the exception of bob wilson who was actually a refreshing change from your normal black character IE dumb boxer some sort of sportsman or some dancing dolt “my rythem was to much for you mon” you get the picture

They arent your regular shoto clones. They have almost no range on normals, they are very fast, one can teleport and suck hp, the other can roll and return fireballs.

Excuse me but have you played this game? if i recollect it’s only 30 something% finished, do you usually judge things before you’ve even played them before you’ve even played the finished product.

CFJ = 21 characters.
NGBC = 32 and still not done.
CFJ = 1 new character/sprite, 2 touched-up sprites.
NGBC = 10 new sprites confirmed, 11 touched-up sprites, a few still unknown (Jins, etc).
CFJ = Old, rehashed gameplay.
NGBC = New gameplay.
CFJ = Average, dull backgrounds (this has been mentioned in the CFJ threads in this same forum and in gameplay previews and reviews).
NGBC = Some of the best backgrounds since CVS1.
CFJ = Reviews give 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0.
NGBC = Unknown.
Now please explain your comment, and PROVE that NGBC is “crappier” than CFJ (a game deserving a score of 4.0)?

Game is looking good lots of characters helps a lot, if I’m not mistaken according to the SNK site there are spaces for 8 additional characters!? :encore:

OT I just have one question for this board I heard (rumour) that a snk game will never be played at EVO Is this true!? (even if it is a good as SF3TS!?) Kof2002 is perfect but kinda ugly but what about neo-wave then!? Why!?
Because this site, and Evo, was not made to support the SNK community. The SNK community is its own beast, with a LOT of restructuring that needs to be done(weeding out the fanboys and promoting the players), and it needs to be done ON OUR OWN. The Revolution at Evo last year was a throwdown in the BYOC room, and I’m still surprised that it wasn’t just me, the K-Force, and whatever Japanese player that happened on the area that played. Until we can bring in the numbers that the Capcom/Namco alliance does, we won’t have an official spot in Evo, no matter HOW worthy the games may be.
Yea I hear about the sideline SNK tourney (being held the same time as EVO) and it seemed that there was a decent amount of interest for SNK, at least that’s what I heard?
So it’s okay for Namco,Sammy and Sega to ride on EVO’s successful coat-tails but it’s wrong for SNK to do it!? I don’t get it? :arazz: Thanks for the info tho sigh

That’s pretty much it. It’s just that Sent’s black pallete swap from Marvel 2 looks so…great, that it’s probably his most often picked color. Some people can only picture Sentinel in that solid black color.
