In the Arcade I got 7 wins and did the rest of the qualifications and I still got to Goodman?
Will there ever be a HD patch for NGBC, or the guys that make it don’t give a shit about NGBC?
Because SS Tenka is coming soon, and I hate travelling to the Arcade just to play the CPU.
I think that 50% life requirement fucks up alot of people. Including me. I just use Chonshu/King Lion or Mizuchi. Chonshu can gain life back with his life sucker DM.
I mostly use Kaede/Athena to get to Goodman
I use Kaede’s grab special for easy DAs or fast finisher supers, and use Athena’s Mermaid uppercut to nail the CPU easily.
King Lion’s specials are also good too.
We need to start a NGBC cult!
I would love to be the leader of the cult…but see with the bonus for the boss requirement you guys gotta see you cant get a bonus in Tag Play mode yet can get to all the bosses…which means that mustve been taken out…

Yeah we do need a community…which sadly they seem to have died out apprently…or went to the XI community…which is still SNK so it aint too bad.
Oh BTW, has anyone been able to pull Haoh’s dash dp off? The actual move, not just a dash then a dp.
I never realized you cold do it while dashing. Is Hoamaru the only one with this ability?
Yeah he’s the only one with this ability, it’s from SS3~ I think.
After weeks of thinking on how to pull it off, I finally found out! 
You need to sidestep then press dp P REALLY fast. Easiest way is to do dp AB, then P right away. It does almost more damage than a DM. O_o

Does anybody have any tips with Chonrei? I know hes low tier but i dont care. Hes fun to me. And i beat a few ppl with a little corner trap i found with his qcfx2 P super.
Any tips?
PS: for some reason im starting to like the way tenka looks. And i know Dark Geese loves it, so DG what tier is Amakusa and what is the name of the guy who has like all water based attacks. He looks nice. Sorry for being a little of topic with this one.
Dude yes…my friend BEASTS WITH CHONREI… Heres some Chonrei stuff…ABUSE JUMP C…that move snuffs so many AAs…so many DA’S even…it can give you FITS!!! Few AAs beat it and they have to be early (Kaedes etc)
Also throw his fireballs and rush in a lot. Mix up this jump C that is FUCKING HARD TO BEAT with the super fireball that will put your opponent in blockstun, jump cross them over while in block stun then do his combo/dash punch which is safe. A blocked dash punch elbow thingy he has (f+f P) IS SAFE ON BLOCK…so use that and anytime you connect a jump C go for the combo into dash punch.
If you do that alone and beat jump ins with the DP shoto style you will give most people fits. Learn when to use the up close super fb and the one that travels to constantly lock your opponent down, then have them doing early DPS to stop that DAMN JUMP C. then punish them with the combo to dash punch.
Amakusa is top tier…hes like the top three (Iroha, Amakusa, someone else forgot)

Sogetsu and Kazuki in Ten is tops as well. It is also arguable that Shizimaru and Yumeji are as well. Anyways, back to NBC. I still think Arcadia fucked up by putting Asura higher than the Jins. To me, that’s just retarded.
Yeah they REALLY fucked up…I totally agree…they just havent seen the Jins played correctly…bc after seeing what I have seen with Chonrei THERES NO WAY ASURA IS RANKED HIGHER…
But Chonrei has one person for his kryptonite. Geese. Countering is Chonrei’s weakness…
Amen on that…Geese does take Chonrei out of the game…as well as Kaede, and Haohmaru…and some others…
It is. Even though the move is a pain to perform at the right times, it’s worth the effort because it has the sure hit properties in it which means you can connect it from anything, like Haoh’s qcf C while everything else whiffs. Just make sure to make the dp hit twice or you might be in trouble. 
And the damage is WTF. If I remember correctly, qcf C and a dash dp is almost 50% damage.
Here’s an example on how the dash dp works, and this is gonna be the last combo I’m showing, dun wanna spoil anymore.
Ya know…I find Hoamaru doing combos with that many hits to be somewhat disturbing. o_O
